Wow, this epi blew me away First time I felt sorry for a killer and I really didn't want him to be one. Maybe cos I was seeing my good vet Dave Case was great but the whole Abby thing...Dude! We don't get an Abby epi in so long and then this! I really, really hope she'll tell her brother soon. I know they won't go there but you hear it often how adopted siblings fell in love after seeing eachother and confusing love for a sibling with romantic love You could see he liked her and since he doesn't know he might LIKE her If you know what I mean. Looking forward to this story in the future epis.
That landlady was hilarious LOL Too bad, Gibbs didn't go with her. Tony was awesome! He's back! After the whole EJ story I needed this. Really great episiode

Do you think it was a right of Abby to donate a kidney? I mean.. I think it had a good outcome, since she found out those thing about her family.. What do you think?

I don't think she actually donated a kidney, but had just gone in for the preliminary testing and then got freaked out (understandably) when she heard that there was another match besides her own.
I hope we see more of her 'brother' and that she gets some closure on this...thank goodness she has Gibbs and the rest of the team to support her.

No Abby did not donate her kidney it was her real biological brother who donated. Remember loosely quoting Abby talking to Gibbs at the end of the episode " I did not tell him he was my brother because I did not want to stress him out before kidney surgery" . And based on what Abby found out from her mother's hair DNA , Abby is not a match to her mother. There's only three possibly scenarios. Abby was adopted. Abby's the child of her father's previous marriage or affair and that her mom decided raise as her own child if so why not Abby and her brother? (she could still match her dad , but she have to exhume his body to find out) Or door number three.... what every explanation the producers and writers dream up. Hopefully what ever the explanation for Abby's past will be more plausible explanation than of Callen's background on NCIS LA this week, now that was dramatic contrivance if I have every seen one.

I'm writing this when I really maybe shouldn't..... As big a fan of NCIS I am, this is very weird, and emotional. I am in the process of donating a kidney to my sister. Just this Monday I had to make a decision, would I donate, our my aunt, who happens to be a perfect match also (consider the odds, two perfect matches, for I was one too). My aunt has lost her husband early this year, has no children, is in her early 70ties and has decided to help my sister no matter what. I have two small children, the kidney disease may be hereditary, and in 10 years time my sisters donated kidney will have to be replaced. So I made a heavy decision to let my aunt go ahead this time, so I may in future time save my children or my sister again, for my kidneys are ok. But I feel really bad about this, although my aunt fully stands by her decision to donate. She would have stepped back if I decided it should be me. And than this episode. My favorite show, this small story-side line, and so well timed. I feel so bad for letting my aunt do this. And it was so strange that this exact thing would popup at exactly this moment in NCIS. I shouldn't ramble on, and it is so off topic, but I had to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading....

Hi pbb, (Even if it's off topic I have to comment your entry). That's really weird and I fully understand that you think about it, especially after yesterday's episode, and want to get if off your chest.
For sure you made the right decision - in this case your sister still has the opportunity to get a kidney in the future (in 10-15 years) as you are a perfect match too. Who knows if your aunt is still around in 10 years (nobody wishes, but you never know). And what's if your sister's body doesn't "accept" the kidney of your aunt? They still have another option. I'm sure that's also something which makes it easier for your sister (and your aunt) to go through all this - she knows, there is someone else who could help her in the future. So let it go as it is, your aunt knows exactly what she does. And it was/is the right decision. Just be there for them and help them as good as you can after the operation
Good Luck for the operation and a lot of energy to you to support them in these hard times. All the best to all of you!

No this not off topic in my book. For me its what makes NCIS a great TV show. Family, friendship, love, loyalty, duty, honor are all recurring themes in and what makes NCIS a huge cut above the typical tv. So I'm not surprise by your reaction to the episode considering your own personal experience. There have been many Ncis episodes that have connected with me on a personal emotional level.
