After seeing the trailer, I'm really curious about this episode.
Will the superheroes turn out to just be LARPers, like the Bones episode "The Superhero in the Alley", or will NCIS be the first crime drama to acknowledge the existence of the Real Life Superhero Movement?
A recent episode of Psych ostensibly featured a Real, but there was no mention of the Movement, and everyone seemed more concerned that he was taking on a drug smuggling ring than with the fact that he was doing it in a mask and costume.
I'm wondering about the "secret society" part. Given that there have been dozens of news stories and a couple documentaries about the Movement, it's not particularly secret, just somewhat obscure.

I hope that Wendy doesn't become a reoccuring character. Even though the episode is only six days away, I'm already beginning to hate her.
As for the episode, it looks quite "interesting"....I'll have my review when it airs.

Better than I expected. With the "secret society" reference, I was half expecting the heroes to be depicted as an isolated group of eccentrics, rather than being part of a worldwide group.
The depiction of the RLSH Movement was the right mix of well-meaning people trying to make a difference and overgrown children who take themselves too seriously.
Not enough fat guys in spandex to be completely accurate though.
Appropriately, it required a comic book-level of coincidence for the father of one of the heroes to be responsible for the killings. Definitely stretched the credibility to the breaking point.

I thought the episode was very entertaining although Gibbs' attempt to fix Tony up with Wendy (I assume that's what he was doing) seemed a bit creepy to me. I thought Wendy was a bit arrogant at the end: she's ready now for Tony! Also, wasn't there a hint that he secretly cares for someone: TIVA lives! Loved the superheroes plot and Abby's reaction. I'm also glad to see Duckie addressing Gibbs' behavior and his attitude towards the superheroes.

It just occurred to me that the slumlord's motivation was essentially the classic Scooby-Doo plot, if fake ghosts were replaced with real criminals and Old Man Jenkins started killing Scooby and the gang.
"If people thought this place was haunted (crime-ridden), I could have bought it dirt-cheap. And I would have gotten away with it too, if not for you meddling kids (superheroes)."

I like this one, too. Not as silly as I feared it would be.
As far as Gibbs playing Cupid... I know they all accused him of that, and he laughed and didn't deny it. But after listening to Ducky's convo with Tony, I saw it more as Gibbs trying to help Tony find closure. To me it sounded as tho Tony was pretty torn up when Wendy left him - Gibbs would have been right there with him...
I'm probably in the minority, but I kinda liked Wendy.
