Well, for the first time ever, I've managed to get a full set of the cards. This includes the early-bird registration stuff and the costume-event participant cards.
Didn't see the agents (sorry, Meg!), but Doug Reilly's presentation rocked!!! Not only did he talk about everything he brought, he sent all the items around and we got to fondle them!! And then told us all to write him and let him know what kinds of things we'd like to see next time.
CID intell did a profile on you for me. I know you flaunt authority, especially in front of a female. … She also wrote you were a sniper, a good one, but your eyesight’s shot. You’re injury prone, if not in a state of near death-wish fulfillment. And though you’re pressured and impatient, you’re also passionate and loyal, in spite of the fact that you don’t trust anyone.

Doug definitely rocked. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back tomorrow night. Just thought it would be great to have him doing the live auction. That would be really funny, I guess. Don't ya think And I truly think his whole presentation and how he shared not only the goodies but all those little stories along the way deserved him his own fanmail box. So get those letters written, everybody
Also really great of Rudolf Martin to drop by. Though it was sad he didn't have time to stick around for longer or make it in the evening. But the call of duty... *sigh*
Well what can one say about Doug? Other than the fact the guy obviously loves doing a job he is so suited for, designing things with such enthusiasm, he is also a born entertainer. I think if it wasn't for a small thing like having to open the FF character booths getting in the way last night ;D ;D, we could easily still be in the theatre now and I think he'd be as happy as we would. Write and mail him, he so deserves that full in-box.
PS Thanks also go to Melissa (Mel), who quietly went about helping him hand out the props he brought along, but at the end of the talk was throwing in little gems of her own from the side of the aisle. A great double act.
We are a lucky lot of fans to have such a wonderful working crew.
Like Doug said "we are family".
Here is Bert almost sitting on Nici's knee
I myself did not take many pictures, too busy listening to Doug.

Yeah Doug was DA BOMB! Loved him to pieces. I had worn my Caf-Pow! tshirt to his talk and I was worried when I met him but he totally loved it. He had Mel grab the Caf-Pow! cup out again and for our photo he had me hold it. I'll post some pics later. Doug's birthday is Monday so I'll be sending him a greeting. Oh yes and Bert had to stay on my lap for a little longer of course.
It's after 6am here and I'm awake and can't sleep anymore. lol

Greeting from Sunny L.A.
I must agree Doug's presentation was excellent!! He was given from 3 to 5 pm to entertain us and was so great It ended at 6:18 pm. Ever one was glad to see he brought Bert with him. He could of stayed all night talking about the inside story that each prop has.
Last night we also got a visit from are favorite Ex-agent

Well, minutes ago we gathered around the fountain in front of the hotel for another official FanFest photo by Chad Murray. And now we have a bit of a break before the evening's events. They began by feeding us and showing "Requiem," then moved on to the greetings video from the cast, including, to our immense delight, Joe Spano!! Charles Johnson hosted a session in which assorted department heads told us about their duties--set decoration, casting, stunts, location scouting, etc--and answered some questions. Everyone did such a wonderful job telling about the show and what they do that hardly anyone had any questions for them!! Brian Dietzen is absolutely enchanting and even cuter in person than he is on-screen, if that's possible. Great teasers for the season starting Tuesday night! And the ever-popular blooper reel.
I know now that Brian runs a 5K three times faster than I do.

Rachel from wardrobe came. She remembered me from the first year. ;D And Chas. and a lot of the others have seen my YouTube video. I told him Doug gets to be the one this year. hehehe
It was loads of fun and I can't wait for season six. Brian arrived and Pauley called in once again. She got her dogs to bark for us.
Oh and .... I love Director Vance even more now. lol

Well I'm packed, suitcase does not feel that much lighter than when I came with 130 "Ducky PDAs". Since I have not shopped for anything, other than FF goodies it shows how well laden those booth bags are.
Can we have a post Fan Fest thread? "Thoughts remembered, Home safe, Will the person contact me who..... etc."
BTW if anyone has pictures of me prancing around the room last night with a plastic bowl on my head, (twice!!!!) proving how impartial I was during the Ducky Booth draw, I'll pay good money for you to erase them from your camera ;D ;D ;D It seemed like such a good idea at the time.
