WOW! 9.5 EDIT: Just finished re-watching - changed vote 10.
That is NOT where I expected this episode to go.
Loved beyond measure that last scene and that Tony went from goofy (Brenda Bitner posting that she and Tony were in a committed relationship after a one-night-stand) to serious (his attraction/"obsession") with Dana Hutton.
That outcome just tore me up.

Yes, but what did YOU think of the episode?
Based on the episode description (I don't watch the previews) I thought it would be ho-ho so was pleasantly surprised. 9.5

But to be fair, everything was down last night. I liked it, 8.5.

Yes, but what did YOU think of the episode? Didn't you read all my comments on this episode in the other thread? If you want to know how I would rate this episode, I would give it a 7 or 7.5 The whole Tony getting obsessed was poorly written, especially the lack of the reason why he felt the need to become stalkerish and violent with the producer guy. And of course the whole one-night stand thing with the coffee-shop lady was just weird and in my opinion a stupid way to bring it up that Tony is looking for Ms Right. And I totally contradicts with his later obsession for the reporter girl. Going from one-night stand to thinking that he found Ms Right only by looking at a face is just strange and unbelievable. Michael Weatherly's acting and Palmer saved this episode though.

watched it again and upped by vote!
I really enjoyed this episode. gave it a 9.5
Liked how Palmer is developing as a character and the end was so sad when Dana knew she was going to die and the look on Tony's face when she showed them the mark on her arm.
And it was clear that Tony admired her and her work even before she became their case,
Somehow to me it felt like an episode from earlier seasons and I felt it was one of the better ones of season 7

Didn't you read all my comments on this episode in the other thread? Nope. I like to get a quick snap shot of people's thoughts before immersing myself in the lengthy episode discussion. This is the poll thread. I was interested to know how you rated the episode.

Gave it a 6. More in depth review in the other thread, but the short explanation is: Weatherly's acting was astounding, DiNozzo's sudden obsession was very poorly explained and he came across as kind of stalkery, Ziva was just as right to push him for his weirdness as he was to push her for hers during the Rivkin mess, and I'm already tired of the lawyer from Wolfram & Hart. Not going to be one of my favorites, no matter how good MW was.

I enjoyed "Obsession" last night, it was a very good episode. Michael Weatherly did an excellent job with the 'Obsession' you could really feel his pain at the end!

Wow! This just went straight into my all-time top 10 I always love seeing Tony's serious side, and this episode showcased it beautifully. Loved the last scene with Gibbs and DiNozzo in the basement, and the piano-playing in the dark. 10.
