I enjoyed this episode, I couldn't really see much wrong with it. My favourite episodes are those with Gibbs 'up front and center' and this is exactly what I got.
I did wonder whether we are going to have a series where family is strongly featured as we had so many mentions of family and Tony's and Ziva's fathers made text/email appearances.
When we saw the text message at the end from Eli David to Vance I couldn't help thinking 'la grenouille'. I reckon Vance has some personal unfinished business with some bad guy that David has been kind enough to find. I hope David does not want Ziva back as payment.
I am beginning to like the interaction between Gibbs and Vance, it was good in this episode.
I think that that this was an anti-climatic episode and the ending was too predictable for me. I was hoping for some kind of twist somewhere but, there wasn't one. It was really just an anti-climatic, disappointing underwhelming episode that is not one that I would want or feel the need to rewatch again. It was good to see Ziva and Tony and the rest of the team, but, the episode was really flat and I think this episode was overhyped, not overhypled like "Angel Of Death, but, overhyped nonetheless in my opinion.
