Really? What Cote de Pablo has not signed a new contract? Wow that's news and would be a massive bummer to see her go. Honestly it would be crazy from a $$$$$ stand point it would be hard to find a new gig with a 20+ episode season paying as much as a CBS gig would . Cable usually pays about 1/3 as much as OTA company's due to smaller audiences. I can understand after eight years being tried of the same character, but the $$$$ are not in the Canadian cable shows(plus you freeze your arse off good chunk of production time) or in the South (N. carolina or Georgia ) were your sweat or freeze your buns off. NCIS is still produced in sunny fair weather So California. And the sleeping with Tony question if this is a really McCarthy style witch hunt as does says in the promo anything is game to destroy the precieved enemy = team Gibbs Maybe she wants/needs some time off for personal reasons. It would be easy to write her out of the show right now. Maybe she is pregnant or is making movie. Who knows? If she is leaving, hope they will not kill her off. I watched the episode tuesday and frankly they've all gotten pretty chunky. Not there is anything wrong with that people age. Cote has gained a lot of weight, maybe she is pregnant if so good for her. Since I haven't watched the show in forever and have no idea of the plot lines I was amazed at how bad it was. NCIS should disavow anything to do with this show, but that is true with any procedural show affiliated with law enforcement.

I don't think Ducky is dead but this was one sucky finale! Srsly, what a way to leave fans hanging after this horrible season. They waste too much time on Dr.Ryan just for her to run off once it gets out of her hands. She'll be back next season. I could bet my ass off Hope everyone else is okay. McGee looks like he's hurt from the window and Ziva and Tony are in the elevator that could fall. I just hope there will be no time jump! Such is the state of TV these days. There are huge apocalyptic endings in almost every show, that put the whole cast in harms way. It might work if I was remotely interested in these characters anymore, but I'm not. It's just meh, bad season, bad ending. Back to reruns of Cupcake Wars.

The show has just become so dull and lackluster. Meh
I couldn't finish the episode because it was just flat boring.
Cupcake Wars reruns are more entertaining.

Blech! the producers have a serious obsession with bad 80's porn and it's getting ridiculous and tacky even by my standards. Please guys get a grip its not funny or cute any more . Google Kirdy Stevens "playing with fire" and you'll see why its tacky especially following "missionary position" come on producers stop with the silly tasteless in jokes. Really I'm seeing serious slippage in the writing and production of NCIS and it is worrisome. You're just now noticing the bad writing? It's been bad for at least 6 years, it's just worse now. no offense intended

Still mulling over the Kate hospital scene. I think it would have been better to have some Gibbs/Ari dialogue than the bizarro Kate rehashed footage. Why hire Rudolph and give him no lines? Hum... bad writing?

I guess we can just be thankful that the 200th wasn't a musical ep. When they roll that one out we will KNOW that the writers have given up and run out of puff. The Buffy musical episode was great, It helps if you have good writers which NCIS doesn't. The problem with episodes like NCIS 200 is the hype, It's hyped to death and then doesn't fulfill expectations, It is what it is, a typical episode from what has become a very mundane show.

Bullet points! And I've got some mighty unpopular opinions. This may well be the last time I post on Special Ops ;D Love your list. Best laugh I've had in a while. OH and I was so thinking Daniel in the Diner with Oma.... It's been done to death in many tropes on near death. I just don't think it was done well here. Only difference between this and the Daniel episode was that Stargate didn't feel the need to whack us over the head with the obvious to get the point across. Yeah, we got it. If I'm disappointed it's only that I expected so much more from the writers. **** So far the assumption has been that Tony & Kate were a couple, however I think the baby is only ever referred to as Kate's baby ('she' called it Kelly, not 'they'). Could it be that Tony was just her birthing partner? I've only watched the epi once so I may have missed something.**** BTW I loved Stargate's 200th episode. I agree no banging of the head on Stargate The 200th episode was a total hoot, very tongue planted firmly in cheek. Here it was pretensions masquerading as meaning, not in the same league

Well at least this episode has elicited more reaction than most of the episodes this season. Frankly I wasn't a fan, seemed disjointed and fractured to me. Please just give Gibbs his halo and be done with it. OH and I was so thinking Daniel in the Diner with Oma.... It's been done to death in many tropes on near death. I just don't think it was done well here. Everyone has an opinion and they are all welcome here. As Buckaroo Banzai said "Don't be mean".

I never comment about the show anymore, but really, the writers took the easiest out by making Ray a bad guy. How cheap... and insulting.

Finally watched on CBS.com.
Deus ex Machina contortions.
MW was good, which is the only thing NCIS has going for it anymore.

Officer Krupke, a sly reference to Natalie Wood (West Side Story)was mildly amusing. Other than seeing Rachel Luttrell it was a totally forgettable episode.
RW and MW have no chemistry.
