Since this board has brought me much NCIS pleasure, and taught me how to make banners, avatars etc. along the way, I must say this here. No place to put it in the episode guide where it belongs.
I am sorry to see Michael Weatherly, our very special senior Agent Anthony DiNozzo, leave this way. The episode didn't do justice to all the comradery that has been built up in the past 13 seasons. I think they didn't do justice to his character from season 8 onwards, but well, I kept watching. All be it not right away anymore. I will continue to watch, at least try to at first, and will try this Bull thing. But I am not a happy Tartlet right now, thinking of all the missed opportunities to make so much more out of it. This is not, and never has been a soap...

There is so much to look forward to here, but... the one thing that I'd put money on is that Gibbs won't shoot Fornell - or rather, Fornell is in on it somehow. Not sure if a vest can take a sniper bullet or not, but Gibbs might be the only one Fornell would trust to take that shot if it came down to it. Just the way Fornell looked almost right into the sniper scope says to me that he know Gibbs is up there. Now whether or not Fornell has to take the hit or is setting up someone else to go down... ...it's gonna be a long summer!! This thought is worth hanging on to. Fornell came as a big surprise to me, for I didn't read or see any of the pre-episode buzz. I really love it when they all team together. And no doubt Fornell is in on it. I will have to watch everything again, to really get what is happening. I do suppose Tiva is off for now, but I love how they have brought everything together. CIA killing the Iranian guy. Pfff, it is a disturbing world we live in. I know it is fiction, but I am convinced a lot of trivial things are going on out there in the real world.

I can only commend that I don't have any commends yet. I am planning to watch the final episodes straight after one and other. Well, that will be two at the time, since I won't be able to wait untill the last episode...

I really liked this episode. I just saw it. I do believe Gibbs acted out of his usual way. Is he getting mellow? And I really like Dorneget. I wouldn't mind to see a bit more if him. I do feel that there is less and less McGee in the episodes, or am I just imagening this?

Since hubby has a hearing problem we always have the closed captioning on and we took that and translated what he said on the computer........."Your not alone" is the basic translation. Yes, you are right. It is from a Hebrew song Lo Levad. I loved this two parter. When Ziva was in the synagogue asking for a sign, Tony showed up. I dare to say that Tivafans and non Tivafans can really appreciate what the writers have done in this episode. Indeed, Ducky's answer about the grandfather/grandmother was priceless. The new (deputy)director is a little bit out of place, but I am sure there is a purpose as to how this character comes across. Pleas show us more of these episodes!

So I knew Tony's dad would soon show so I'm guess Ziva's dad is coming again soon? Next episode he'll be around I liked this episode. Not as much humor in it as the previous had. I liked Palmer and Ducky together, I loved Ziva removing the crumbs from McGee's mouth. It all looks so easy and natural. The case, as always, is necessary, but not the main purpose. I hope as from this episode on Tony really gets on with his father. Otherwise it will be too much, this yes or no relationship. Great to have a peek into Tony's sanctuary.

Ok, I really liked this episode. Last one didn't give me much satisfaction when looking the first time, this one did. Not too many distraction from people whom I really don't care about.
I love Abby's brother, he is so like... Abby.
I loved the vulnerability of Ducky and Vance, who are both struggling with emotions anyone can relate to.
I liked the story, it was a good, solid one.
Tony and Ziva were their normal self, McGee didn´t get much screen time, but later episodes will make up for that, I am sure.
Even the injury that McGee suffered in the explosion, which didn´t seem to make much sense, actually did now. I should have known, nothing ever happens for no reason in this show.
I´m a happy person right now!

Oh I really liked this one! I'm with Belinda on the Hetty-resigning thing. And like Gibbs's killing off his bad guy, I do not agree with Callen to shoot this guy. But oh boy can I feel for him. Sam kept asking whether he was ok, but he really wasn't. Why didn't someone see this coming...

A mystery ! Tony's Tartlets #70 died in Mar. 2010. Tony's Tartlets #71 (this one) was revived in Nov. 2011. There have been less than 2 pages of posts since then. What happened? This is a great forum but many have left. I can guess they went to Twitter, Facebook or the now defunct CBS boards. But I think there is more to it than that. ? Something happened which made many members leave, but I never really found out what... I come back here every now and again, because this board and the mods have given me a great platform to find out all I want to know about NCIS, and helped me to develop my internet and photoshop-skills. And I will always be very grateful for that! Here are a few oldies:

Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to follow this episode? Should I watch an episode of Hawaï Five-O too to understand everything, or is the HFO-eps the same as NCIS LA's?

I have to re watch the episode she played in, because I still don't really understand what she was doing there. But it looks like the writers are giving us some new love interests this season, so you may as well start to like her! I find it just a bit distracting to see a well known actors or actresses popping up as a character in NCIS. Although some fit in just nicely (Gibbs's and Tony's fathers....).

I liked this epiosde, no I loved this episode. And I too actually like Wendy. After seeing last weeks episode, where McGee and Abby were a couple, and Tony and Kate (or not, I didn't really get that), it kind of put me off on the Tiva, McAbby and other combinations-thing. I also do not like the fact that none of the characters is in a stable or any kind of relationship for longer than a couple of months.
I saw all the little and big things I like about NCIS in this episode, it put a smile on my face when McGee and Ziva were eavesdropping, I liked the heart to heart between Tony and Ducky, I loved the way Abby reacted on Wendy. I missed Palmer, poor, poor Palmer, and I liked Vance.
There is one thing I really wonder about though, does Gibbs, with his allmighty eyes, ears and his famous gut, really doesn't know about the feelings of Tony for Ziva and vice versa?

Well Bertilak and Nici, your clones and yourselves are not alone. Some of us are still around. I can't send my clone to console you, since I really never received one (and I checked, and checked and checked.... ), so I will send Gibbs himself who is also looking for news from gibblets: Click to pop!

This one will not stay with me for long. A good, solid episode, like drakeissix said, but nothing more.
A sergeant was found dead by a dog walker, and everything in the episode evolves around the question, did the wife do it or not. That was the case, which I liked. But there was a bit too little about my main people's inner feelings.
For example, I expected more of Ziva's visit to the dead man's wife, especially because Gibbs mentioned to Ducky that he would hate to see old wounds get ripped open. But nothing really happened, so I think they missed a great opportunity to get back into Ziva's bad memories. Maybe they are saving all that and this was just an intro for the upcoming episodes with the company shrink.
Identity-theft had indeed been done before, but so have so many things, it was season 8 episode 13, so more things will pop up that have been done before. I liked the way Tony solved this, actually I loved it. And he bounded with the kid, always nice to see.
I liked the bartender, and will think about what if..... if he just had told the wife how he felt, maybe they would have had a great life together. But not for long, like I said, a nice, solid episode but not one to stay with me for long.
I liked the bickering between Tony and Ziva in the bar.
As for Gibbs, to me he acts a little bit tired after everything what happened with his wife and daughter and his actions in Mexico so many years ago came to light again. Like he has been there, done that, seen everything and is on automatic pilot. He cares for the people around him, he does his job, but his heart is not really in there. Maybe something will/must happen to shake him up again.
