8.5. Had some great moments (however I really prefer the story arc episodes that are team centered rather than case centered).
What I liked: * Jimmy Palmer "solving" the method of murder and the ensuing "welcome to the team" Gibbs slap (when he leaned over for a kiss). A compliment of the highest order. * Mobile Campfire and Gibbs backing up Tony calling Ziva "Probie" - whole new ballgame with her being an agent (not Special Agent yet) instead of a Liaison. * Tony actually coming out on top by winning the Larceny Lotto - then donating his winnings to charity. * The knowledge that Tim wasn't always the good boy he's presented himself to be (Base Commander's bedroom furniture "stolen" from his house and placed on the airfield tarmac ;D). * Imagery of Tim in "skinny" jeans - too tight in the wrong place is my guess - and getting Halloween costumes banned. (Hey, nothing could ever top Abby as Marilyn anyway so I'm good.) * Non-kid friendly Mr.Rogers - complete with sweater - and that there was trouble in his neighborhood.

9.5 Lots of reasons but in no particular order. * I think there was more to the Marine's story than meets the eye. I don't believe he was a deserter - men and women who go UA (turns to desertion after 30 days) ditch things that will ID them as military. Staff Sgt Cryer still wearing (or even having in his possession) his dog tags was very telling for me. * Cote. Her performance tonight was brilliant and very understated. As with Michael in Truth or Consequences I believe it to be Emmy nomination worthy. At times tonight Ziva's emotional pain was very hard for me to watch and I had to force myself to not look away. I felt like I was intruding on something very personal. * Plenty of humor. This exchange between Tony and Tim, for instance. Tim: Oooo, code blue. Tony: Someone's been blackballed. Tim: They gave you the red flag. Z: What is blue, black and red? Tony: Zebra in a blender. Tim: That's black and white and read all over. Tony: Newspaper. Tim: Penguin with a sunburn. Tony: Nun falling down stairs. (OH NO, hope it wasn't Sister Rosita) but I digress... This was hysterical. Two little boys trying to out goof each other. ;D * Vance and Gibbs. I'm over the moon about the progress in their relationship. * Eli - this is one ticked off man and this episode has me chomping at the bit for the visit I know (well, suspect) is coming. Tony then Gibbs and now Vance has really given him a reason for vengeance so while the 3 of them are watching Ziva's back they should be watching their own too. * And a favorite moment - Gibbs saying "Get to work.....Probie." This episode, like the 3 that came before have really set up this season to be very thrilling. I don't know what's coming and I LOVE it!

9.0 Didn't like Tony backsliding a bit in treatment of Tim (sandwich scene)/ Would it have been so hard to have bought him one when you got one for yourself? Since you didn't why not give him half? Or at least half of the half.

9.0. Really good episode with some great moments.
* Tim and Ziva on the park bench. * Abby chewing out Ziva - but with a soft touch thrown in when she was talking to herself. * Tony and Ziva in the men's room. * Gibbs and Ziva in his basement. * Jimmy was back and Ducky let him impart info to Gibbs. * Tony, Tim and Ziva not saying a word but sitting at their desks smiling.

Jenny's funeral was off-camera. We saw them all coming back to the office afterward.

I rated it a 9.5. I'm still flashing on several scenes: * Gibbs and Tony's private convo at Tony's desk. Glad they're on the same page. * Professional all Business Tony. * Ziva up a tree - nice piece of humor before the fireworks began * The SecNav - glad to see him back. Jude does a great job with the role. * The document Vance shredded was fiction - and the SecNav knew it. Whoa! * Fornell being demonstrated on by Ducky * Tony and Rivkin - fight for life, the outcome and what this will mean when "Team Gibbs" has to go to Israel.

Paraphrasing Sally Field: "I liked it, I really liked it." - and much more than I expected to. Gave it a 9.5 since it did it's job and left me wanting more. Really liked Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and his relationship with Gibbs. Really liked Tony and Abby's scenes - especially telling her to delete the Michael Aaron Rivkin search. Really liked McGee getting as giddy as a school girl over the techie toys. Really liked Tony and Ziva scenes - ah, secrets. Can anyone say "tension?" Really liked Tony (again) and Ducky - with Gibbs gone it was meet and right that he go to Ducky. AND I really really liked that Michael Rivkin show up to meet "Liam" I know spoiler tags aren't really required here, but I thought I'd be polite. I'll remove them on Wednesday evening.

Is this the 2nd post on this thread for Cloak? I could have sworn that I posted to it when it aired.
Anyway - my score would be a 20 out of 10. Outstanding episode all the way around. The writing and performances were far and away the best of the series to date.
Of course here I can only give it a 10 so that's what I did.
Can we have a new scale that says 10+?

I rated it a 9 out of 10. Great team case with just the right amount of focus on the guest stars.
Will add more comments after I re-watch for my notes.

I voted the last time Heartland aired but didn't write anything here. Now it's time. I gave it a 10 then and still give it a 10 now. In fact I liked it even better this time around. Really......really want to see Ralph Waite make another appearance as Jackson Gibbs - this time in DC.

7.5. It had it's moments but didn't have me on the edge of my seat or have me rolling on the floor with laughter.
For once I didn't mind Tim giving Tony a piece of his mind. The incessant jabbering about believing he was going to inherit big bucks WAS rather annoying.

For me Bounce rated right up there with Cloak. I gave it a 10 and would have gone higher if the rating system allowed it. I'm already up to 4 viewings.
Too many things to list here of why I loved this episode but here are a few: * The private Campfire scene between Tony and Jethro and Tony getting a grip on himself to finish the case. * Jimmy being Tony's Ducky * The hangover scene - not over-played and quite funny: "McGee, say words." * Abby finishing every sentence in the initial Abby-ville scene with "Gibbs" when she was talking to Tony. * The appearance of the "TRAINEE" name tag and it's quick removal. * Gibbs "huddling up" for Campfire. * Gibbs flashing the camera in Tony's face. * "Boat. Bourbon. Basement. I get it."

I liked Cloak better (my favorite episode of all 6 seasons) and wish the same writer had written this companion piece too. It just seemed to lack energy.

He just don't feel the same-Gibbs had moved on.He looks at her like he would look at Fornell-if Fornell was death,Gibbs will act the same way...In my opinion Gibbs didn't love Jen the way she loved him-that's why he didn't showed emotians.Kate's death became suddenly-Jen's death was the death she chose. i guess i kind of disagree. i mean, Gibbs probably had moved on, but jenny still held a special place in his heart. he may not have felt the same emotions he once did for her, but he still felt something ... i think him being unable to open the body bag was a very telling scene, he saw kate's body, even on the autopsy table (i think), but he couldn't look at jenny's Melbradford, I agree. He may not have been IN LOVE with Jenny anymore but I think he still Loved her. Not opening her body bag was a very telling gesture. One thing I highly doubt is that not showing Jen's body was about money. Still no statement from Lauren so I think we may see her (in some manner) next season.

Meg, Your post was great and I totally agree with your mussings.
Haley, I agree with yours too.
Personally I think we haven't just glossed over Jen's "death" and that we'll be seeing more about it come September.
106 days to go and counting.
