Unfortunately, the best image of her smile is the final *FOOF* ... which is in black and white.

Does anyone know where I can find a high-res image of Ziva's beautiful smile at that end of 7x04? With her hair down like that and that positively giddy smile ... rowl ... so I'm trying to find some high-res images of it...

I can't grade this higher than 5. It was really dull, even if Ziva looked fantastic at the tail end or if Tony's description of the four Alien movies was dead on accurate.

9.0 Didn't like Tony backsliding a bit in treatment of Tim (sandwich scene)/ Would it have been so hard to have bought him one when you got one for yourself? Since you didn't why not give him half? Or at least half of the half. 'cause that's how brothers (or guys close enough to be brothers) treat each other. In my experience, anyway. Tony is just being the Big Brother here. IMO.

Ziva did NOT kill Ari because her father told her to, she did it to protect Gibbs. That did not change. This. There's no retcon involved. Yes, there is. Until last season, at every mention of the entire Ari thing, they made it a point of establishing that her father was unaware of this fact. Look at "Silver War" and how she specifically told Gibbs that her father did not know that she had killed Ari. The change to her being instructed to kill her half-brother is very much retroactive continuity; it doesn't matter if they managed to shoehorn in a way that it didn't entirely conflict with previously established continuity - it is still a retcon.

6.5 for me. Cote did a fantastic job at showing that Ziva was a changed woman and her interactions with the rest of the team were excellent, but I loath the confirmation of the retcon about her killing Ari on her dad's orders, so that subtracts some points alongside the way too predictable crime (I called the actual killer upon introduction of said killer.)
Though the scene with Vance on the phone, telling his wife that he loved her while looking at Tony was hysterical.

Every time she showed up, me and my roommate exclaimed "No capes!" Every time without fail.

I think that's rather harsh You may think it's harsh, but that's my opinion and the opinion of my roommate as well. Unlike the original NCIS, this team didn't grab me and not let go. As I said, I hope future installments are stronger than this one. YMMV

I didn't find this episode particularly interesting and it felt like what it was: a first ep trying to re-establish the characters after a slight retooling. As much as I like Linda Hunt, I really couldn't look at her in this and not think of Edna Mode in The Incredibles, especially when she started giving Callen clothes to wear.
And only in Hollywood can someone take that many rounds to the torso and bounce back after only a few months.
I'm hoping the next episode is better than this one, 'cause I honestly can't see a large segment of television viewers to tune in if all eps of NCIS: LA are going to be as mediocre as this one was.
