If I'm up against eight bogies, the only real question left is: which one do I kill first?

I just watched this ep for a second time. Still one of my favourites, despite the plotline not making a lot of sense to me. The characterisation was very well done and well played by all the actors. OK, to my questions: Some fantastic fans capped and transcribed that paper Leon shredded, which didn't really say anything except how good Director Vance was at his job. Hang on a sec... Director Vance? Obviously this performance review was written before he was made Director that day. A mess-up by the writers or something more sinister? I've only seen Season 6 once but I don't think that paper was ever explained. We know he split the team to try and catch a mole. And it seems obvious he had this plan well before he took the directors office. So...did he set up Jenny? Or did Jenny, knowing she was going to die, set up the op for Vance for him to execute when he took office? I'm rambling a little, I know. But I had to get it down before it escaped from my head. Thanks folks. In Semper Fidelis we found out that the SecNav knew about the paper (one was included in the file that Kort gave Gibbs) and said something like:"I thought we shredded all of these, it's not even real". Why it was created in the 1st place we don't know and may never find out. Agree, navyresgirl. I presume it's for redundancy so that in case the original or a copy is destroyed, there's another copy (and perhaps several more copies) floating around in some agency's archives. Furthermore, since SecNav has read Vance's file before and given what we know about Vance's background ("The man's born for counter-intelligence," says SecNav in this same episode), I'm still waiting for SecNav's words about Vance being the pointman in an investigation into Mossad to come true. Hopefully, we'll see it in Season 8.

9/10.
A bit underwhelming to me but to see the team stick up for Gibbs is a sight to behold.

I absolutely loved it...esp. that scene when Callen was at that lady's house to find Amy and she showed him the photos of the many orphans she took in. I've never seen Callen so vulnerable and when that tear drop fell, I fell apart for him. Wonderful job by Chris O'Donnell.

Latest PEOPLE magazine - May 24, 2010 ;D I've known since September 2009 that he was married. This just confirms it. Bojana is an extraordinary woman. He's very lucky.

A seven. It was a lazy episode but Perrete's and Harmon's scene in Gibbs' basement saved the episode from its monstrous inconsistencies.

The storyline was pretty mundane and predictable but that can be fairly forgiven because it was the Christmas episode. I liked it but it's not one of my favorites.
Tony's gift, however, was pretty spectacular. If there is such a thing as a positive spin on Tony's chauvinism, it's that he's sensitive when he needs to be.

As long as you stick to the rules you can write any kind of fanfiction you like: novels, short stories, poems, scripts... It's completely up to you. In Ian Fleming's original "James Bond" stories, they were actually short stories but it wasn't a complete story in any sense. They were more like the psychology of Bond in a moment such as looking through a sniper scope as he's about to take out a target or having a brooding moment of his purpose just before he meets up with M. Scenes like that. Would a format similar to that be acceptable as fanfic for this site, SG? Also, is there a minimum word count?

9.5/10.
One of my absolute favorite episodes of S7. Took a 0.5 off for that awkward conversation between Tony and Ziva in the ladies room. It seemed forced.

Gave it a 9/10.
Loved Diane Neal and it's great to see her other than as a stuffy lawyer.
A terrific storyline had me guessing all to the end - kind of reminded me of S1's "Hung Out To Dry." I didn't really catch on till the end. To me, that's the best kind of NCIS storytelling.

I like it as well. It had twists in the storyline like in the first couple of seasons and it kept me guessing till the end. I couldn't pinpoint any clue that led up to the wife hiring Jensen to kill her husband so she can claim the money. Well done!
