Gibbs made Tim take his shirt off because it had the blood of a suspect, who would not give them a DNA sample, he was told to take the shirt to Abby, and asked Tony for a spare shirt so he did not have to go down to the lab bare chested. Tony took his dirty one off and was going to put a new clean one on. Gibbs was not around when Tony started taking his off, BTW neither was Abby, who by the way they cut the trailer looked as though she was, cunning these trailer putter-up people, but we are getting wise to their tricks.

Great episode from the word go. Tim to Gibbs after being told to get down on his hands and knees, "you are not going to kick me, are you?". I would not want to use someone elses deodorant. Still going back to France, we don't know yet what those street flash back scenes from last season meant, so I guess we may find out what happened. I'm guessing that "I like a good shag" could be used for either Ducky or Jimmy's new thread title, next time one is required. Better go to work. Always maked Wednesday's much easier if I can start the day with a new NCIS, when do the breaks begin?

I wonder if Gibbs is around when Tony takes his shirt off, we know what they do to us with their trailers? I'd like to think Gibbs goes off somewhere with the shirt, maybe with Abby or to see the DFF and Tony and Tim get into a contest that Ziva has to judge. Best scenario, Gibbs comes back takes his shirt and Ziva says he wins hands down ;D but I'm a Gibblet and it's not going to happen that way.

This segment for the 4th Season "NCIS" DVD was filmed this week. Thanks again to all who participated. I understand that the release date will be at the end of the year, but the producer said any questions that were filmed, but were edited out for one reason or another, would be made available to be seen at the Fan Fest in September.
One of the questions asked Mark if he met someone with Gibbs' traits, would he be friends with him. The answer will surprise you. (This is known as a "tease," as if you needed one.)
The producer has advised that everyone whose question was filmed would receive a copy of the dvd after its release.
Best, Harriet
Harriet just posted this on the NCIS Yahoo site, it is about the Q&A session that we were asked to submit questions for. Now was I the only person who jumped to the conclusion that it meant we would be invited back to the set again, then revised the thought, with other possibilities, so as to be not disappointed if we aren't? I had visions of us seeing it on the screens in the dining room, or being shown before a live Q&A session on the set. BYW The revised thought went something like, we'll be shown it at the Sunday afternoon session at the hotel.
I also think that in a way Mark answered the question as to how he feels about Gibbs on the InFanity programme, "He'd like him in his fox hole in a tricky situation, but would not want to invite him round for dinner".

Looks like we all have to play dress up on Thursday night, to get the special NCIS trading cards.

Just booked my flight. ;D ;D Very odd, searched through same sites as yesterday and only the AA site had the same price, and since BA are doing adverts saying book their offers before 20th March, I wondered if AA might put their prices up again then as well. I looked on Asda, Expedia and Travelsupermarket.com. Cheaper at this time to go to the airlines site in the end.

Nici, I bet only DPB would need to give permission for that to be used, unlike the NCIS logo, which is government owned, and the reason Harriet says the show/CBS cannot put things out. Tweeter I'd settle for a bag, to put the goodies in. It was just an idea to buy something with "NCIS Fan Fest" on to raise money for the good causes, and keep as a memory. If we are not allowed to use "Fan Fest", maybe we at Special Ops could get together, design something or other, maybe arranged the sell through in our own countries, to cut down the S&H(P&P) and made the donation of the funds raised at Fan Fest to Harriet or to (hopefully, fingers crossed, that we get invited back to the set again, this year) Chas, John or if a cast member turns up like last year.

Anyone flying from Heathrow might like to look at the airfare price this weekend. It is the cheapest I've seen them £388 on AA. £394 on Virgin and others. That is about £40 less than last weekend. I might have to take the plunge.
BTW before we lost some things from the threads, I asked if people who went last year were surprised that, apart from the auctions, there was nothing to buy as a memento of the visit. The goody bags and fan zone bags were nice, but I wondered what the logistics of organizing things for sale to benefit the good causes would be? Maybe a pre-order, so that everything would be sold, maybe even the chance for those not lucky enough to go, to buy something. Or would a copyright/actors rights/writers rights etc mean that would not be possible. So on a final note, what would you like to buy? In case it would be feasible to organise. I'm a t-shirt junky, so you know what I want. I noticed an orange cap very similar, if not one of the same, went for a good deal of money on ebay this week. I'm sure besides the one we were given, I could have taken a few home with me as gifts for UK NCIS friends.

Darla, it's OK, Tony's warned us about the "Locals" ;D (banjo music starts to play). I think "smitten" is what I am about Gibbs lovely old fashioned word, for being in love. Valentines Day next week.

Nici, your room mate was dmc4me, so you couldn't go wrong. Mind you, you did have to put up with everyone else congregating there as well ;D It was the hub of our little Special Ops wheel. Bit like Tony's campfire meetings.

Not complaining, because it was nice, but when I woke up this morning, for some reason I was thinking about NCIS's 100 episode. I'm thinking it should be episode 5 season 5. Now if we are lucky enough to get an invite to tour the set at Fan Fest this year, going by what episodes were in production on last years visit, do you think it will mean they would have just wrapped or be filming the episode? Maybe like Witch Hunt we would be given a teaser incite.
Also, did anyone book early enough, or want a single room last year? If so I wondered what it was like? I saw three or was it four? different rooms. Mine only had 1 bed, but had a couch and a coffee table(no Gibbs did not turn up, maybe because I only brewed tea in my room!!), so it was like a little apartment, very home from home. I know that others who did not share had 2 beds, but I really liked what I had and would be happy to repeat that. So wondered if the single occupier rooms were smaller than what I had last time, or if what I got was a single room and they come with 1 bed and a couch?

Sort of talking Fan Fest, but this covers travel in general, so should maybe in a different thread. Flights at the moment are very good, pricewise, but does anyone know if Travel Insurance covers having to cancel a flight and rebook if the date for what you are flying for gets changed? eg: if for some reason they altered the dates of Fan Fest, there would not be, much point in being in LA 13th-17th September(edited), (maybe I could watch David Beckham!!). LA airline prices are good now, so even this far in advance I'd like to book the plane ticket. Also for a little event in Oklahoma in June. Most websites in the UK want the flights booked by 23rd January.
OOPs June obviously couldn't come soon enough for me ;-)
