I seem to recall reading or hearing somewhere that #1 was not quite as evil as 2 and 3. Perhaps thats the one that ended because *he* was a nice guy

That was wife number three, and it was 4 years ago. Cant remember if it was a golf club or a baseball bat, but #2 hit him with one and #3 hit him with the other.
I can't remember specifically what was said, but Tony has made some comments to Kate like "You never met ex-wife #2" or something like that, that led me to believe he *had* met at least one of them, but he's only been working with Gibbs for 2 years and I would imagine that #3 broke up probably around that 4-years-ago mark. Anyone else have a better insight?

Its very weird, I just cant get behind the young Mark. Maybe its because Ive never seen anything from back then, only pictures. Perhaps Moving Mark is better. But he just looks like a completely different person to me. I can't associate it at all with how he looks now, I don't know why.

Don't feel bad--thats probably because they're not movies. They're episodes of Chicago Hope.

Oooh, Presidio! That was good. It was my first time seeing Dark Mark and it was so awesome. Didnt it seem like you were watching a young Gibbs? I think Gibbs used to be an MP, too. I remember that he had a couple of lines that reminded me of Gibbs but I cant remember what they were now.
Looking at your banner there, though, I still have to say that Silver Mark ROCKS!!

Considering the number of "Gibbs in the rain" scenes from "Kill Ari", I propose: Gibbs: Wonderful when Wet ;D I like the other suggestions too, particularly "Semper Smirk" Anytime we can get Gibbs and Rain in the same sentence gets my vote. As much as I like the idea of using something thats a quote from me (thanks Alethea!!), I also like the rain-themed idea. How about Special Agent Gibbs: Just Add Water or Special Agent Gibbs: Smells like a Wet Dog Ok, I was just kidding about the last one.

Personally, I'd rather they didn't go the "former love" route, it's too soap-opera for me. Im with you there. Its very mid-80s action series. I think there was a "former flame" on every single episode of Airwolf

Good point about Gibbs at the end, FatCat.! I hadn't thought about what it looked like from Gibbs' point of view...which helps explain his nose-to-nose confrontation with McGee. I had initially chalked it up to Gibbs wanting to make his point very clear about not second-guessing yourself...hadn't considered that he might be having a flashback to Kate being shot. Actually, thats a good point. I wish they'd made that clear though, because that would make it make sense. Jusst a flash of Kate's face or something. A flashback of anything that didnt involve Jennifer, necking, and/or mimes would be welcomed by me.

Fatcat wrote: "And tell me, my dear Gibblets, is that why we have to wait a whole two weeks just so 'all' of you can tend to him with your TLC before we can see a new episode? Because he's so exhausted after that he can't lead a case this week? "
Um. Yes. And if that's the case, can they take 4 weeks off? ;D

Shepard also admonished Gibbs for giving her "The Stare", a famously celebrated Gibbletism. I dont know, though, these terms are pretty basic. As much as I would like to think that the writers are giving shout-outs to the fans, I think its just as likely that they came up with them on their own, or they're things that developed on the set.
