I wondered why the fan in my computer suddenly revved into life! ;D Yes, that's from one of the "Battle" eps he did all those years ago. If memory serves, his team won the year he was the Captain.

It might depend if it's a man or a woman...men tend to go by their last names, so he'd likely say "I'm Gibbs" or something like that, whereas women tend to give you both their given name and surname, so he'd probably say "Jethro Gibbs" unless the moment wouldn't allow for anything but a terse "Gibbs."

Thanks for the transcription, Meg! Does anyone besides me think his description of John Houseman in "The Paper Chase" sounds alot like Gibbs?

We're getting close to needing a new thread title...
"I shall return!" (apologies to Gen. MacArthur)
" I'm not the cabana boy!" (But we have pix of him as the pool guy ;D )

What a great picture, dmc4me, thanks for posting it! How long after that did it take your breathing to come back to normal? Do you have any more pictures?

I'd go with "It's a Marine thing." My little Boyd's bear in his Marine uniform is nodding his head.."Yes."

Thanks for the gorgeous pics, guys! I think we need to talk the Wardrobe and see if we can get Gibbs in a suit and tie all the time! And yes, it was very reminiscent of Simon Donovan ;D.

Another possibility: "Showin' him the love" something we'd all like to do! ;D

Thanks alethea I checked it out and it's on at 4 am, and 9am. You're more than welcome! He was/is seriously hot in those eps. Had the 'smirk' workin' overtime, too. As to the West Wing eps...you'll need a whole box of kleenex, trust me! But he was so sexy/funny that it's worth it to watch and then just quit before it all goes to @$#%. But it gave us "Gibbs" so it's worth the tears.

LJG...Discovery Health Channel is still rerunning "Chicago Hope"..I think it's on early in the morning, but if you go to their website, it probably will have the info there. THey were sort of running them in order the first time, don't know if they still are, but at one time they were listing the ep titles on their site.

I think you have to go to the "People" website and vote there, somehow, though I actually haven't tried. All the Gibblets should go vote for Mark, who, actually, is "The Sexiest Man of All Time"! ;D

Thanks to all for the drool-worthy pictures posted lately. And speaking of posting pictures...check out a few scenes from "Honor Code" and see if you see what I think I see...on the cork board in Gibb's cubicle, that you can see when we're looking at him seated at this desk...tell me if you don't think someone has copied his senior picture from college and now it's thumbtacked to 'Gibbs' board. I spotted it in two scenes from this last ep...it's down in the lower right hand corner of the corkboard. I know we just started this thread, but I have an idea for the title for the next one, thanks to Abby..."Special Agent Gibbs: Showin' him the love." ;D
