Okay Gibblets, Your Galactic Empress says it's time to go Road Trippin'! The Agents are working a double shift this Tuesday night and then they're off until the 16th. So... let's hear from everyone who's in, and let us know who's bringing what supplies. The SUV is ready to go and I'll get that coffee tanker hooked up and filled up so we can leave bright and early Wednesday morning. jo, mac I already know you guys are in... who's bringing what? liz, think we can send the redhead to a rather congested voting booth? If we're lucky she won't find her way out of the polling place for ages! Okay, I'll give it a go. And I think we can get Don to keep the redhead busy. . . .

Just finished watching "The Long Road Home." Geez, can that guy act! In this he was a migrant farm worker during the Depression. Terrific! I've seen a lot of Mark's movies now, and my general impression is that he's a far better actor than the material he has to work with. And while he's awfully good looking, in most of these flicks he doesn't come across as sexy, at least not to me, even when there's a lot of sex in the film. Only in the later years - a bit in Chicago Hope and The West Wing, and a LOT in NCIS! Gibbs is a lot different from most of the other characters - well a little like Simon in The West Wing - and I think it's a perfect role. He's got a lot more intensity in this role. (I like intensity.)

Finally arrived yesterday. I should get it capped over the weekend. How's it coming? Or are you watching it over and over? Dottie B

I just finished watching Mark;s 1991 movie "Cold Heaven." What a dreadful flick! Totally bizarre. Mark plays a guy who died a couple of times and was practically dead the rest of the time. It always amazes me what a good job he does in some awful movies! But I watched this and no way could imagine him as Jethro Gibbs!

Mm, mm, good! I love the 'Crossfire Trail' one. I've always had a thing for the villain...especially when they look that good! I just watched him as villain in "Casualties." Funny how I'm always on his side!

I agree. He was cute when he was younger, but now...yowza, the man is fine. I've heard this before, but I must say I think it's true. His younger pictures look an awful lot like Tom Cruise. Not sure if that's good, bad, or just is. I think he looked like Tom Cruise, too. I don't particularly care for that look, but I watch Mark's old films to see him act in various roles. I MUCH prefer him today! Oops - Chicago Hope is on! Gotta go!

Wow, dottie...where do you get all your insider info? I tracked Frank down last spring through the Navy museum gift shop web page last spring, when I was on the committee planning the JAGFanFest East. The Navy Museum was one of our stops (It's right next door to NCIS HQ in the Washington Navy Yard.) I'm not sure I gave you his best number - he has a couple, but doesn't monitor them all regularly.

I have the exact same problem... well, that and the fact the Navy Museum store doesn't ship outside the US as far as I can tell - I want the cap as well Call Frank Aire, the gift shop manager, at 202-678-4431 and ask if they'll ship to you. If you have your credit card handy, he might be able to take your order over the phone.

I'd prefer Total Smoking Hottie, just so I don't have to blush every time I post on the new thread. I think we should honor this position.

Doesn't Yankee White end with him working on the boat, too?

I thought Gibbs looked a bit tired and haggard (I won't say "old") in Heart Break. Anyone else notice?

Meg, you might want to keep a year-by-year time line. It would make an excellent resource!
