Celestia- I agree, the flashbacks in this epi were the best! Tango-I agree, Abby in interagation, was just hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing! Melbradford- I agree with you on all accounts! The way I interpret it, Jenny did kill the Frog.
I loved the joke Tony played on 'McZero' in the beginning and him saying 'I didnt do it' and 'not my fault' when the comps start failing. So Tony!

Considering that it dealt with Le Storyline That Would Not Die, I liked this one better than I thought I would. Fornell is so not getting a Christmas card from Gibbs this year. The whole Shocking Twist EndingTM was, in my opinion, totally unnecessary. Jenny didn't kill La Grenouille... or did she? Dum dum dummmm... I'm really not buying it, and here's why. Trent Kort said he killed LG, and he had the hall pass from the CIA to prove it. Do you really see TK sticking his neck out for anyone, let alone Jenny? If he really thought she had squished the frog, his bald little head would have been working overtime to find a way to get her fired/arrested/run her panties up the flagpole/whatever.
Also, they found a shell casing on the deck of the boat... I don't think it was ever specified if it matched Jenny's 9mm Glock or just a 9mm Glock. How hard would it be to run the ballistics? Abby can do it in her sleep.
Nice that Jeanne went to Africa to be all altruistic and all she could spend her time on was thinking of ways to get revenge on Tony. Perhaps a Tragic!Hippo!Accident! is in the works for her?
The FBI must not have ever actually believed what Jeanne told them about Tony killing her dad, or else everything they did other than interrogating Tony - here I'm looking at, for example, removing Jenny from her duties, and WHAT was up with the toothpick? - was a complete and total waste of time. They would have gone right straight for Tony.
Weren't there supposed to be polygraph tests?

God i loved this episode for so many reasons.
For starters the Fornell v. Tony scene was one of my favorites. I dont think ive ever seen MW having so much fun in a scene. You could see them building towards that showdown from the start fo the Ep and i loved every second of it.
I also really loved the scene with Jeane and Jenny. The way the stories came full circle and Jeanne was going through exactly what Jenny did it was pure genius. Funny for the first 35 minutes of the episode i was hoping Jenny was going down but in that one scene i loved every second of her on camera.
Gibbs and Jen's final scene was pretty great, i loved the open endedness of it and Gibbs line 'god save the queen' was awesome. Was it sarcasim? was it loyalty? was it condemnation?
I actually liked all the interogation scenes except Abby's, shes just not my favorite character. Ducks was pretty straight forward as well. I loved watching McGee fidget the man just cant handle the pressure. Ziva's was also great i loved the way Fornell danced around her role and mission.
To be honest theres very little in this episode i didn't love. Might be my all time favorite episode.
I took out the Tiva talk. We only talk Tiva in the correct forum. Thanks!

I wonder if the old computer and printer were Kelly's? Anyone remember offhand, or has already got the episode out and rewatched, which ending of the gun in Jenny's study episode was shown when it aired last season? Worried that I liked the shot of the dimples in Ziva's back, when she was kneeling, holding the phone to the ceiling on Gibbs boat If Leon comes back, often, please ditch the toothpick. MrClark, you are a bloke so it's fine for you to like them, but I'm worried that I noticed them!!

I'm just reeling in shock. So Jen really was involved in killing the Frog? I know she was obsessed, but I thought she had more...integrity than to go to that extreme. I know the characters hit some gray areas and cross some lines (AKA, Family Secrets, Iced, Tribes), but I think this went beyond that. I can't believe they really went that far. I mean, we've seen main characters accused before but they've never actually been guilty. Crap.

I love it, the characters on this show sometimes are two clean cut. I like the darkness and the questionable morals of some of the players. Makes the characters so much more interesting.

Oh, I'm not mad at the writing. I'm mad at Jen and I'm just amazed she was really allowed to be guilty. Usually they don't do that with series characters.

Because he killed Le Frog, his girlfriend's father. I loved this episode. True to NCIS form we still don't know anything beyond a doubt but we're used to that by now. I don't find Jeanne going to Africa unrealistic. She was hurt pretty bad, she'd want to get as far away as possible. Loved Jenny in interrogation. And now I'm intrigued about that mark on Jasper and René's hands... not that I think we'll ever find out for sure. Watch that toothpick making a comeback for DNA in a year from now.

Why did tony tell Jeanne that it was all a lie? Was that what Ziva meant by telling him he needed to be 'a man'.
Love that scene even though I didn't understand a second of it, lol ;D

IMO he did it to make things easier for Jeanne. I've pondered whether or not I would prefer that information if I were in her shoes and I can't decide.
I think, he told her that to enable her to let go of the relationship. It might be easier to lose something you never really had (i. e. genuine love between them) than something that actually could have been the love of your life. She can tell herself it was all in her head and that might make letting go easier.
If she believes they never had a chance anyway she can hate him for deceiving her and not have to worry about him being hurt as well. I guess that's what Ziva meant by saying be a man: Sacrifice your own need to be the good guy, to be another victim of Jenny's plan and give her what she needs—a reason to hate you so she can move on.
Just my two cents worth.
