Also wondering if kibbslover was lucky enough to either go to the show, or manage to meet them on location as she has the past 2 years after FF.

NCIS fans will be happy to know that we’ll soon learn more about Leroy Jethro’s background. TV Guide reports that in the Oct. 14 episode the team will visit Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) hometown, meet his father, played by Ralph Waite (The Waltons) and discover some secrets in his past.
"The episode is a little piece of magic, with revelations about how Gibbs grew into the man we all admire and respect," executive producer Shane Brennan told the publication. "It is a funny, revealing and emotionally powerful story that I think fans of the show will talk about for the rest of the season. Prepare to get choked up."
