OMG, I missed that part of NCIS! Thanks for the pics, I'll go watch it right now! His hair has been gorgeous since the mid-60's (the longer and thicker, the better, too!)
Speaking of gorgeous hair, melting icebergs, etc., I found a S&S montage on YouTube this weekend - "Sapphire & Steel - Blue Eyes". OMG, it just about shook me out of my shoes! (Just the first seven or ten times I watched it!) If you haven't seen the montage, I highly recommend it. A beautiful song with a hotter than hot, gorgeous man. What more could you want? ;D
**Added info: I had problems with putting in the video link; thanks Batwoman for adding it! Specific scenes questioned are from A-1 (last clip) and A-3 (where he hands her the baby).
Clothes are the keys to the "Assignments":
A-1 (old farmhouse): She wears pale blue chiffon dress, pale blue sapphire necklace and earrings. He wears a gray suit, black tie w/ gray or white dots. Most scenes occur in kitchen (yellow stucco look; diamond-paned windows; stove-fireplace on opposite wall). Scenes include glance at her over his shoulder, she raises an eyebrow, he smiles; his hand on her shoulder (window in background) - she & little boy are sitting at table; his sitting by the fire, blue blanket around shoulders (last clip in video). He dropped his temp & became a walking Popsicle to free her from a painting.
A-2 (abandoned depot/hotel & buffet - very gray): He wears black top coat/white scarf; charcoal suit with black bow-tie. She wears light blue v-neck chiffon dress with scarf around neck. Scenes include walking together down hotel corridor (top coat); walking toward her on platform (dark charcoal suit) w/ hands behind his back; his kiss on the back of her hand; his kiss on her cheek.
A-3 (rooftop of apt. bldg.; beige apt.): She wears blue silk pants and Asian-styled silk shirt - very straight hair; he wears gray suit with black/gray/white striped tie. Scenes include grasping hands on rooftop; his handing her the baby; her sitting on the bed.
A-4 (junk store; photography studio): She has short hair, wears blue dress with white trim at the neckline; he wears gray suit. Scenes include him looking at stuff in junk store, her standing in the junk store; her sitting in old floral print chair.
A-5 (Residence - white foyer; green sitting room & library). In the 1st clip of video - she's looking in a small mirror, he's wearing a gray suit with gray necktie. Change into formal attire for 30's era celebration - she wears the black gown; he wears tux w/ up-turned collar & thin bow-tie. He has slicked back hair & thin little 'stache appropriate for 30's era. Scenes include sitting together on sofa; kiss in library; her standing w/ back to him.
A-6 (Diner - yellow walls, red gingham curtains & tablecloths): He's wearing gray suit with diamond-patterned tie; she's wearing a u-neckline cobalt blue dress w/ narrow belt. He stares out the window; she stares out the door.
I hope this info will help. Since most of us in the US didn't have the benefit of watching S&S (UK series), all the S&S Assignments on YouTube - look for clips uploaded by dalek64. All clips are identified by Assignment No. & segment number.

"What more could you want?" was merely a rhetorical question. I was just making a reference to the "Sapphire & Steel - Blue Eyes" video montage on YouTube. It's really quite good. It warmed up Steel's cool nature.
I finally got to watch the beginning of this week's NCIS. I missed Ducky's classical grove going into a crime scene. Did anyone else find the "Mozart" reference interesting? I just remembered this afternoon that DM was in "Amadeus" not too many months prior to beginning "NCIS".

ok, I finally saw it. I would have watched it over the weekend but SOMEONE didn't post a link on channel M.  anyway, I'm so lost now. there were 2 sets of clips that I honestly don't remember seeing in the series. I have the A&E set I picked it up at Best Buy a few years ago and watched it in marathons over the course of a few days. So the ones I don't remember seeing are the ones where Steel is holding the baby and then passing it off to Sapphire, and the very last one, and all the episodes where they are dressed like that. Are those not on the A&E set, or am I just forgetting them? btw, here's the link for those that can't find it or don't have time to hunt it down. |

I think it's more that mustache, wasn't very flattering. I've seen him with one before, I guess I'm used to a clean shaven look.
btw, there's an ep of NCIS where he looks like he needed a shave. the one with the Marine Corp ball. it was the scenes in autopsy, take a close look. it's hard to miss it, the camera practically zooms in on it.

I know he needed shave in MeatPuzzle but probably because he was kidnapped and he couldn't shave lol I'll check tomorrow for that episode, now I'm going to one great concert and must take shower, put clothes on etc. Thank you for telling me |

I was going home when I thought I saw familiar car. So I just slowed down to take a better look, and there he was! With a map, confused and tired. They sooo got lost... (his driver should have never let Ducky have map!) ;D
