I've just arrived also. First thing I did was get online, since Jo is not around yet. My room is in the Portola bit of the hotel, where is everyone else that has arrived so far?

El Dorado here. PM me for cell number and room number. Thursday I plan on going to Valencia all day long. Going to Town Ctr and Canyon College. I will check my private messages at 8 am and leave then if anyone wants to go can take up to 4 people with me. Will be back by 330pm.

Going to Valencia to take picks of some of the filming locations. Will have pics avail next tuesday as I do not have my cable to download them to my puter with me.
So far the weather is perfect (IMHO)

ok Just got back from Valencia (my future new home in 8-10 years lol)
First Valencia and Santa Clairita are just fantastic. Love the area. Thoug in 10 yrs I am sure it will be very crowded.
Second I finally after 2 hours found where NCIS is filmed in the studio. I have pics of the outside and trailers and a NCIS truck.
I believe I saw Liza Lapria (SP?) walking into the gate. If not it was her double. However I did not get to see anyone else. Nor did I get a picture of her. I was driving by and getting ready to park.
I was hinted at not to step onto there property when taking pics. LOL I stayed in the street and on a parking lot peering over a fence to get a pic of Mark Harmons trailer. Security just watched me as I took pics and then when I went back to my car they went back inside.
Would have loved to seen some of the cast. I did not see any signs for production around the area like they do in Vancouver BC. Darn that would have been tooooooooo good.
Met a couple people from this board this morning. Sorry horrible with names.
I am off to Universal Studios City Walk.

The excitement is building. Half-pint and I arrived at LAX early. That's right, the airline was early believe it or not!
Took supper shuttle to the hotel. As a ex-manager for supper shuttle in Philadelphia I found their service to be up to par.
This hotel is a lot nicer then the Air tel. Staff has been wonderful so far. Just returned from Lunch,Burger and fries for the two of us Only $27. The burger was good ,waitress was excellent.
I Will let NICI tell you about the fries. She is are resident expert on French fries.

Woot, Chas. stopped by just for a minute today. He said hi to a lot of us. I didn't dress up as an episode but everyone had some great outfits. I just wore my "Caught on Tape" Abby shirt and brough the Franken Baby in to say hi to old friends.
I've been told to not eat the fries so I will not be doing that. Though their chocolate cake was good (thanks tweeter for letting me finish yours!)
Will report more when I can. Time for sleep. Laters!

Last night the welcome party was held. It was nice to see old Friends. There was 23 people that dressed like an episode title . Some where very creative. I was going to bring you photos but photo bucket is not cooperating.
