Warning for "probies" attending Fan Fest, it can seriously make you friends in other countries and make you do things that sounded like a good idea at the time . Proof here is a picture of Mel taken today in Bushy Park, Hampton, Middlesex UK on her way to Hampton Court with one of my bikes (sorry Darla I forgot to give them skid lids, in my defence not much traffic). I myself have fallen foul of this phenomenon on two occasions during the past two years, causing me to fly to Dallas and visit Oklahoma (sorry Jo!). You have been warned, so go if you can. Wow it looks like you are having a wonderful time!!! ;D That is so cool!! Well Mel, where are the other pictures? ?

They dumped Pay pal, I believe , because Rick is doing everything over his business (account) and so he would pay a fee for each payment , which they receive. via pay pal. Before 08? they use a private account and so there was no fees. safest way. Anne This statement is not correct. At NO time has Rick's business ever been involved with the Fan Fest. PayPal is not a bank, it makes it's own rules and regulations and is free to change them at anytime. Many have had problems with PayPal, some have lost their accounts. For that reason the Committee made the decision to no longer use PayPal. If was a difficult decision and is harder for all of us. The NCIS Fan Fest Planning Committee Hello Sorry, for possible trouble / discomfort you have, because of this. This was absolutely not my attention. It was also not a criticism. Anne

My favorite character is Tony... hmm... I rather not cross dress, I've tried once and I looked horrible. o__O Hopefully it's alright to go as my favorite female character- Abby. Although I guess most women dress up as her. How many women are planning on going as Tony? xD

oh my goodness I would sooo love to go to the FanFest! Like, really. Unfortunately, my parents are having enough trouble paying my tuition as it is...I don't think I should burden them anymore. Plus, I'll already be back in school. Oh well, I guess I'll have to be content with going to the same high school Michael Weatherly went to lol. Ok, but you guys have to keep me posted about what happens at the Fan Fest! A probie wants to know.

I hate to nag, but I'd really like to know if it's possible to stay at a different hotel or if Garland is the only option. If it's the only choice, I'll probably book a double room and look for a room mate. If anyone's interested in sharing a room, I'd like to talk to them. I know I said before that I'm too neurotic for a room mate, but if it's only for a few nights I can probably deal with it.

Of course there are other hotels in the area. No guarantee they'll be any less expensive, though. And don't we get a special rate?

I know there are other hotels, I meant if you had to stay at BG to visit the fan fest, if it's booked along with the registration. I guess it's not. Of course, for a nice hotel, it's not expensive, but you can basically stay in a dorm room at a hostel for a third of that price. But I'm probably going to stay at BG anyhow, since it's only for a few nights and everyone else is going to be there.
