Good episode. I liked the ending but was a little disappointed that Kate didnt make it onto the wall I was a little bummed when I didn't see her on the wall I paused my TV to make sure too.

Jen wasn't up there either, but I'm assuming that's because she wasn't "officially" killed in the line of duty. (As far as most people know she died in a fire)
I've got three ideas as to why we didn't see Kate on the wall:
- Someone on another board suggested the bar is meant to represent the new bar on the Navy Yard, which only opened two years ago, in which case the photos would probably only be recent deaths.
- The camera didn't show all the photos and there is a picture of Kate farther on.
- Not all the pictures were NCIS agents. (I'm sure one of them had a cop with a police dog). The wall is more about the bar regulars or friends of the regulars who've come and in that case it makes a lot of sense, since I don't see Kate as the type who'd go out drinking with her coworkers. They implied that other than Abby, she didn't socialize after hours much with the rest of the team, plus she was a bit more of a girly girl in a lot of ways (spas, wearing skirts most of the time, etc.). That type of bar probably wouldn't be her type of place. Whereas Paula seemed like a tomboy who probably would have joined the guys for a drink.
It was sort of odd, but at the same time I was happy to just have the moment be about Paula - since she hasn't gotten any recognition since she died. They've referenced Kate and Jen and even Pacci, but not Paula.

8 Enjoyed this episode, poor Gibbs beating himself up over Langer when it wasn't Langer and was so sweet when he put his ID card on the wall. How long it would stay there well does that matter? They'll clear Langer's name I know. Loved it when Ducky was suppose to profile the newbie but instead profiled Gibbs, you rock duck man! While it is the every changing world to have people with degrees and doctorates employed in federal/police agencies I'd rather have a room full of agents like Gibbs or Tony backing me up in tight spot rather then geeks or squints. You can teach computer skills but you can't teach street smarts. Anyway good solid episode and I too appreciated the acknowledgement of Paula at the bar wall. I loved her character was when she died.

I gave it a 9. Great episode, the rookie did a good job, and everyone else was top notch.
