8.5 Not my favourite episode but it did have its moments, although I don't know why they had to kill Lee at the end although I suppose dying in the line of duty was a better way for Mandy to remember her then knowing she was a criminal who went to prison. Also as soon as it happened I too would have told Gibbs and saved lives and grief. Also am I mistaken or was the child missing for 8 months.. Jingos!!! Holy Ghost, Crikey wouldn't you have sought some sort of help from someone in the agency .....

I liked Cloak better (my favorite episode of all 6 seasons) and wish the same writer had written this companion piece too. It just seemed to lack energy.

They weren't written by the same writer? That explains a lot.
I hate that. It wrecks the continuity. It reminds me of the four-in-one novella collections I buy sometimes. They'll follow four generations or four characters from a specific group and each one is written by a different author and it sort of ruins it, because they're supposed to be a set and there's always one that's much better, one that's much worse, and two average.

I gave it an 8.5. This episode just didn't ring true for me. If my sister/daughter whatever had been kidnapped for 8 months, you would notice it in my behaviour. You would not see me walking around smiling, begging for slices of pizza or whatever. Lee was altogether to perky for my liking. As for Gibbs shooting her: Is Gibbs really that cold blooded? This season is giving us a lot more background info on what drives these characters, but all in all I'm not sure I like what I'm finding out to be honest.
