This is the lowest I've rated any episode, I think. I gave it a 2.

Really? Strange. I gave it a 10. I loved the plot. ie: the actual case, and the whole Tony thing was just awesome for me! And Vance's speech at the end just blew me away. Very good delivery by Rocky Carroll! I loved this episode!

I love the title options this week, especially as we have "Neutral Corner". Since I didn't like, or dislike it, perfect option for me.

I voted for the exact same option. If I had to vote for the storyline alone, I would have voted lower, but there were some good scenes between the characters itselfs, which made me rate the episode a little higher. But this episode won't end up high on my favourite episode list, that's for sure.

I gave this episode a zero, because it was boring and lacking in any suspense. I think that NCIS was better off when Director Morrow was there because Gibbs respected him and he seemed like a more realistic director and it's not the actor's fault the role that the role of the director has been flat and poorly written because that was in my opinion the case long before Director Vance was there. I think that the director could be an interesting and compelling role, but, the writers and TPTB don't do much with the role. This episode wasn't as bad as "Angel Of Death" for me, but, it was an episode that I won't watch again.

I rated the episode "7.5/10 Wham bam thank you mam". Which is a low rating for me as far as NCIS episodes go.

Pros: Abby and Gibbs signing, it's something I've missed more than "Gibbs' slaps"; return of the "Gibbs' slap"; Tony missing Jeanne (sp?); good acting; good lines; meeting Vance's wife; and Vance's wife inviting Gibbs to stay for dinner.

Cons: Uninteresting "case", I just wasn't keen on it. I don't care enough about Vance to care that he has his own story; the writing as a whole was lacking, like I said there were good lines but some of the stuff just seemed "off"; lack of suspense and more that I just can't be bothered to list.

I'll probably watch the episode a few more times but it won't be one of my Top 10 or even Top 50.

If it weren't for my missing the signing and the Gibbs' slaps and the angsty Tony I might have been tempted to outright hate the episode but sometimes it's the little things that mean the most to me.

And the "Wham! Bam! Thank you, Ma'am,"? Perfect description. The episode did something for someone, just nothing/not much for me.

ETA: I honestly have more of a connection with Vance's wife at this point than with Vance... at the end when he was looking around the office at his pictures something in me just wanted to start ripping the pictures off the walls. I just don't like him.

I didn't mind this episode at all that puts me in the minority I see. I was really into all this Vance intrigue and his dark secret that I hope Gibbs is able to bring out into the open soon.

I also am in the minority that I do not like the Gibbs slap. It got old a long long time ago. It was okay for a while way back when but I didn't miss it at all. That said Tony was behaving psycho when Gibbs did it this time but I still hope it doesn't make a permanent return.

I didn't like this episode so much, i love all the ncis episodes but this one didn't work for me to much

OH MY! A Zero? I didn't much like Enigma but I have yet to rate any episode of this series a 0. Wow.

Edit: 1932 (7:32pm) - Watching Enigma again right now and have discovered that I'm actually enjoying it this time around. Some great lines, lots of humor - much more than I originally realized. I have the DVDs but skipped over this episode.
Maybe Knockout will grow on you the way I'm realizing Enigma has grown on me.

I don't know i was never a fan of Leon, i don't dislike him but him doing the investigation???

knockout kinda put some of the characters out of character in my opinion, but who knows it might grow on me...

I just couldn't rate any episode of this series a 0. I think the lowest I've ever gone is a 6.5.

Ah well, we can't all like the same things.
