Rated 7 Better than expected not as good as hoped for, still this episode was enjoyable. I liked seeing Original Cindy if only for a scene. Maybe Jess Alba will show up later... nah

6.5 for me. Cote did a fantastic job at showing that Ziva was a changed woman and her interactions with the rest of the team were excellent, but I loath the confirmation of the retcon about her killing Ari on her dad's orders, so that subtracts some points alongside the way too predictable crime (I called the actual killer upon introduction of said killer.)
Though the scene with Vance on the phone, telling his wife that he loved her while looking at Tony was hysterical.

9.5 Loved it!
Ziva being given orders by her father to kill Ari didn't bother me as much as i thought it would. Ziva did NOT kill Ari because her father told her to, she did it to protect Gibbs. That did not change. Ziva didn't even intend on killing Ari in the first place but took the assignment to protect him. The only thing that this info did was make Eli David even worse than he already does. lol you don't send your daughter to kill her brother even if she volunteers. psycho family.

9.0. Really good episode with some great moments.
* Tim and Ziva on the park bench. * Abby chewing out Ziva - but with a soft touch thrown in when she was talking to herself. * Tony and Ziva in the men's room. * Gibbs and Ziva in his basement. * Jimmy was back and Ducky let him impart info to Gibbs. * Tony, Tim and Ziva not saying a word but sitting at their desks smiling.

9. Not quite as good as last week - but still good. It also didn't bother me about why Ziva was sent to the USA, because that wasn't really WHY she came. She always had her own agenda.
And saying Gibbs was the closest thing she had to a dad? I cried.
I loved "McSidekick." Tony and McGee are back to the Tony and McGee I love. And Abby jumping Ziva - sort of - and then hugging her and making the banner and stuff fall. Typical Abby.

Good episode, I gave it a 9. I enjoyed all the scenes Ziva had with each of the team members. She made up with each of them in a personal way. I was hoping the Ari-thing wouldn't be true but the way they resolved it I was okay with it. Gibbs should measure her against what she's done for the team in the last three years, not one misunderstood moment in which she did safe his life, whatever the original motivation. My highlights: - Tony and Tim interacting, they're a team
- Shoulder holster
- A Gibbs-slap
- Jimmy finding a vital clue
- Abby being Abby. During her rant/welcome monologue you could tell Ziva was just gonna let her get it out of her system and move on. The exploding banner rocked!
- Yay for seeing Original Cindy

Gave it an 8
Pretty good, but I thought that they had enough material from last week that it should have been great.

Ziva did NOT kill Ari because her father told her to, she did it to protect Gibbs. That did not change. This. There's no retcon involved. 8.5 for me, but I don't give many 10s. And then there's the misspelling of withdrawal on the scrolling message thingy.

Ziva did NOT kill Ari because her father told her to, she did it to protect Gibbs. That did not change. This. There's no retcon involved. Yes, there is. Until last season, at every mention of the entire Ari thing, they made it a point of establishing that her father was unaware of this fact. Look at "Silver War" and how she specifically told Gibbs that her father did not know that she had killed Ari. The change to her being instructed to kill her half-brother is very much retroactive continuity; it doesn't matter if they managed to shoehorn in a way that it didn't entirely conflict with previously established continuity - it is still a retcon.

Enjoyed this episode but not as much as last weeks, the case while it was great to get back to grass roots investigations was a little to contrived for me but that didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. Loved Tony in hot 'cop' mode with shoulder holster... Can't help wondering what made them bring it back after all those years but hope it stays.
A few of the women at my work have found 'our little show' and love it as well, they want to borrow my DVD's from past seasons to catch up on the seasons that channel 10 haven't show lately ;D You think I should charge them a hire fee... only kidding!!!
Well they are a bit late in discovering our show but I guess better late then never at all.
