Nici only has her ipod touch and it is not easy to type tomes on it.
;D ;D Michael and Pauley came and did a Q&A this afternoon. Michael arriving first, standing on a chair so we could all see him. He took his jacket off to the delight of most of the audience and then proceeded to tease by taking off his shoes and belt. Pauley was meant to do the normal telephone call that she has done on previous Fan Fests and then pop in through the door, when asked where she was, but she told us she forgot it was this weekend until Chas phoned her, she was cleaning her house.
so rushed down to us
Both were wonderful. No photos were allowed.
At the start of the afternoon two cast members from NCIS:LA also did a Q&A, then we had a panel from the NCIS crew talking about how NCIS is written, filmed and planned.
Rudolf Martin and Muse Watson attended the evening session. They posed for photos and signed autographs.
I go home to the UK tomorrow and so should go to bed since it is now gone 1 here in LA.
PS we saw a great gag reel, it is such a shame they cannot sanction them for release.

Daniela and Barret were terrific for showing up. Daniela is very pretty in person. Love her.  She kept kissing Chas. I thought that was cute. Michael and Pauley were awesome. Of course after they left I thought of a question (shush Darla!) Michael is indeed married now, he did that last week I believe? We had our group photo outside. I was up high so I was looking around and who did I see walking toward but Rudolf. He waved when I called out his name. He came and stood by us in the photo which was cool. He came later to the booths and I just asked for a photo since I met him 3 years ago. Great that he came. Muse I got my photo with too since I met him last year. They couldn't get my camera to work so I said, "You gotta turn it on so Muse stars whispering "I love you" to me saying that that should turn it on. LOL! When I get home I will share photos and more things that I remember. Typing is making my hand numb. Never type long sentences on an iPod Touch. Ooofta! Laters! |

I'm through with my meltdown and am feeling better today.
I think it's so cool that you guys got to see Michael and Pauley. Sure, I wish I were there, but I'm happy for my many friends who were there. It sounds like this year was a blast.
I want to know who won the Tony raffle... hope it was Sean's Girl!
I didn't buy any raffle tickets, too much stuff around the house as it is, and of course I couldn't bid on any auctions - 'specially not knowing was was being offered.
Missed all of you guys fiercely. It was hard for me.

Thanks to such people, we had no Set-visit last year and this year  and who knows what will be in the future Yep, I'm quoting the whole message. Thanks, Shannon, for hunting this down. And thanks for letting the board know why there haven't been any set visits, either for the FanFest group or for the raffles, and why there won't be any for the foreseeable future. Please, folks, STAY AWAY from the production facilities AND from the location shoots. These people are working. How long would you keep your job if people kept hanging out at your workplace disrupting things? |

Ok! Got to throw my 2 cents in as to why no set visits.
First Penney: Can't help to notice set visits stopped when there was a change in the Fan fest Committee.
Second Penney: I've worked a lot in ground transportation from driver to dispatcher to trip planner and back(sometimes in the same day). Does anyone think about how much thy saved not paying for the busses. last year I was disappointed that none of that saving when into the food that was served.

The set visits were also no longer offered as an auction item, a huge moneymaker for the Fest. The food was provided by the Production Company, not the Fanfest itself. This is not something to be speculated upon, it is what it is. |

Kathy, Rick, Cathy and Maeve are the four core members of the committee who've been working together for years. Rick couldn't make it last year, it doesn't mean there was a change in the committee.
In any case, it wasn't the committee's decision to stop the set visits.
