It includes LA. Just got an email about it. 23rd-26th September. As per usual I had to look at prices. Expedia will do a return trip from Heathrow 22nd, direct flight, with a room at the hotel for 4 nights, King Size bed and stopping off in Chicago on the way back, leaving LA at 23.55 on 26th for £888.04. With American Airlines. That flight is 14.50 so a nice short Chicago stop but enough leeway if a delay from LA. I like to track the prices. ;D so now I have a starting point. Asda Travel will do room and direct flights with BA (evil daggers) for £747.88 at the moment, sale price. Single room this time, price is advertised as £805.47 usually. Good saving. You're not booking the hotel directly? You may want to inform your agent that you should get the special NCIS rate, so you're put in the same block. Unless your agent can get you a better rate... I haven't even looked into flights yet. You're much more ambitious than I am!

Tweeter special rate is usually worse than booking flight and hotel together from the UK. Luckily I cannot afford to go this year, couldn't afford it last year, but a little help from a friend, sister and sale of 15" laptop and the fact it might have been the last FF made me make the effort. Oklahoma via Texas in the late spring is my only goal next year ;D

mchnelson, you're not going? But, but... I'm going! I want to see all my friends! I didn't realize that the rate was for three days before only, I was going to fly in on Monday.
Of course, all this depends upon if I haven't bankrupted myself with medical bills. I fully intend to be perfectly healthy by that time.
I'm still upset I missed Michael. ::pouts:: But he signed the picture that all of you signed for me!

Well that's a nice Christmas gift from the fanfest committee! Received the message on Christmas eve.
The best part is the dates are the weekend after The state fire police meeting that is being hosted locally. I will need a vacation after that.
Now all I have to do is hope I still have money left after the Cruise in 30 more days. As I run off to start packing I send Holiday wishes to all and get well wishes to Tweeter

Hello
I will try to attend the FanFest this year again. Before the FanFest my parents and I will probably visited Canada for 3 weeks. If we find some one , who takes care of our dog. And if this is clear, if can I take a four weeks vacation.
My roommate canceled last year in last minute.
If I can come I will look again for a roommate.
I really enjoy the FanFest last year. But I will probably not stay for this years Sunday activities, since with the FanFest my vacation days are almost used. I have to work again at least on September 30thand I want to have at lest one day to sleep in , before returning.

I have a question regarding the bookings. Do you have to book the rooms through the hotel website, and register somewhere for the Fanfest?
