ahhh it all makes sense now, i only just got round to watching the last ep where at the end the team go off to kareoke (hmmm no matter how many different ways i type that word it never looks right) but they cant find dom and then the camara pans onto doms desk where all his bags are lying there, at first i thought my eyes were going bad & he was peeking behind the desk or something, never thought it would lead into this ep. cant wait. -k-

Looks to be a solid night for our NCIS'.
I hate to say this (and certainly hope the actor isn't out of work) but if (if!) Dom gets killed off, IMO it's a good move for the show. He seemed way too much like an extra wheel and it always seemed awkward trying to stuff his extra screentime in. They have a techie in Eric and a sort-of rookie in Kensi, there's no need for a third McGee.
Although, if he lives, no problems.

(BTW, I don't actually go to the NCIS:LA thread to read these, I go to the last 40 entries thingee). ANYway, I don't see Kensi as a rookie, or am I missing something? Dom seems sweet and I hope the poor guy doesn't get killed off, but yeah, I guess he is the one who would be missed the least.

I was watching the teaser for tonight's episode online and I realized that they showed the BOLO for Dom and when I paused it I realized that they gave a description of what happened. Read below only if you want to be spoiled. Major Spoiler Ahead - Do not read unless you want to know what happens to Dom!!! Major Spoiler Ahead - Do not read unless you want to know what happens to Dom!!! Major Spoiler Ahead - Do not read unless you want to know what happens to Dom!!! "Agent was ambushed and kidnapped in preplanned manner. Kidnapping carried out by Colombian nationals on hire. Agent was exchanged to third party."

What can I say but Wow!!!!! I am sure that I will have more to say tomorrow when I have had time to process this episode. All I can say is that Shane Brennan is one evil man especially given that he said in the spoilers that this start of something that is building toward the season finale, which means we're probably not going to get a payoff until Sept of next year. Evil Shane Evil, but I liked it.

Intense episode! I got suspicious something would happen after I saw the promo and I read this was the exact episode Barret Foa got promoted to series regular. Guess I was right. But to be honest, I won't miss Dom that much. I was not a big fan of the character (probably because of the fact it was hardly developed) and the actor didn't bring that little bit extra to the character. And I guess they realised they only need 3 field agents, Callen, Sam and Kensi have done all the work almost by themselfs, Don had very little fieldwork, especially the last episodes. I hope Dom will be alive though. I cannot wait to find out how this arc will play out. Guess we have to wait untill may sweeps periode to get a first clue. Maybe it's connected to Sam's storyline for a few episodes back?

At first, I thought it was either Callen or Sam at first, but since I saw the promo after my predictions were set, and they were wrong, of course...it was narrowed down to Dom. But, Kensi really isn't a Rookie/Probie like Dom is. Kensi definitely has smarts and wits when it comes to being an Agent, like Callen and Sam, but Dom is mostly compared to McGee back in Seasons 1-3,

^^ I paused that during the promo too... haha. I also noticed that Barrett Foa was promoted... good for him, because I really like Eric. I liked the karaoke part with the team, but I feel like between this and another show, "Wanted Dead or Alive" is going to be equated as a preface for bad events in my mind... haha. I thought this was a very intense episode as well. I liked Dom as a sweet kid, kinda like the newbie/little brother you need to watch out for. I liked how everyone went through the same thoughts of guilt/'why wasn't it one of us'. Definitely very good. And Dom had a very sweet apartment... just saying. Very excellent episode, and I can't wait to find out just what happened here.

LA sure is racing out of the gate with all horns blaring! This show keeps getting better and better! Not many freshman shows have the guts to pull off such a major shake-up with the cast just 13 episodes into the first season! But then again, with a strong cast, a strong producer/creator, and a strong sister show, LA is already ahead on all accounts when comparing to other shows. The story is one that we as an audience have seen played out many times on many shows, but it is the acting that really blew me away. In the scene where they listen to the audio file of Dom's abduction, you can see the clear horror radiating off everyone of the team standing in that room. You can see the fear and the guilt so clearly on all of their faces. I think using Dom as the kidnapped agent is actually a good move for the show, after all, the character wasn't used much except for comic relief, at least in this way, he is the main thing in a major story arc that will keep the attention on him, and all the while as the team digs deep into their research, we can learn more about Dom's personal life too. So in a sense, we may not see him, but we are learning about him as we go along, and the board is clear for Adam Jamal Craig to return whenever they need him. So all in all, it's not a bad move at all. I like the direction LA is heading, the show is getting strong with each episode and I hope this continues and the show can follow its sister show's glorifying footsteps!

This just in from TV Guide: Top Moments. www.tvguide.com/News/Moments-Incestuous-Kiss-1014353.aspxThis is the comment about NCIS: Los Angeles: 6. Best Foreshadowing: On NCIS: Los Angeles, it's generally safe to assume that the week's case — no matter how complex and bloody — will be solved within the hour. So color us surprised when the team left the missing-persons case of kidnapped fellow agent Dom unfinished. Is he dead? Alive? We have no idea. Now that's how you plant a plot seed.
