OMG... THANK YOU!! I have seen more interviews with Brian in the last few weeks than I have the entire time he's been on NCIS. It's truly wonderful! He really deserved recognition, he's earned it!
I know the Crickets thread is supposed to be about the character of Jimmy Palmer but I just have to comment about Brian Dietzen - those of us here who are also members of the Yahoo Brian Dietzen group know from experience that he is a total sweetheart. He joined us on the board as a member about a year or so after the board was established and while he doesn't have time to post that often, when he does post, he makes up for lost time with updates and ALWAYS a thank you for our support. He's a very gracious man and knows that he's very blessed in life.

Studmuffin? Don't remember that one...but then I was too busy squeeing over Jimmy to hear all the dialogue.
Did, however, catch Tony refer to him as Mini-Mallard. That cracked me up. XD

Oh yeah, "Studmuffin" was in there. It was amongst the list of names that Abby called him, including "Baby Gibbs".

After that episode, I don't know if I'm even interested in watching the final. I am sooo glad they did a Jimmy episode. This stuff is spoilerish so I am going to hide it from the innocent: I could have done without the hypnosis scenes altogether. They bordered on farce and re-inforced my theory that the season 5 writers have never seen the other 4 seasons : Witness to be precise. MAYBE they could have got away with the latter hypnosis scene but really, they should have used a professional like in Witness and got the memory storyline out of the way in 2 minutes. The boot fetish was just silly. Michelle Lee never wore boots. This is a man who wears loafers to crime scenes.
Wiping out the hypnosis scenes would have given them more time to explain the Navy link (it was there but very tenuous). It's sort of like doing your figures in ice skating before being allowed into the main competition - they just aren't doing the groundwork.
My favourite scene was the one with Jimmy and Ducky in the evidence garage working on extracting the body from cement (again - why didn't they call in an expert especially if they were going to use the cement as a molding). Jimmy's attitude was just terrific. he's sort of listening to Ducky but he's really just going through the motions while being annoyed with himself.
I see Ziva really has been giving him driving lessons.
Good acting but the writers really need to tidy up their plot.

Well, the Crickets can be a helpful bunch, maybe someone wouldn't mind taking a screencap for you? I'm sure that the burden of replaying Jimmy's Banshee Scene (aka the "I did NOT get out of the car" scene, is a sacrifice that we'd all be willing to make for you... Quick question: Did anybody catch the type of car Jimmy drives (drove)? There is a wiki page called cars in NCIS. They pegged it as a Honda Prelude. (clicky)  I'm not sure. Here is a picture of one for comparison but, of course, there is the question of model. You could alwaysask on the BD yahoo site, he might be able to tell you himself.  |

Sorry for the double post, guys; I was going to wait for someone else to say something first, but the board has been very quiet for the last few days... In any case, I think I would like to apply for a clone? I don't have any scrubs, but I did make artwork and used my very own screencaps from About Face. It took me ages to get just the right shot for the second icon. The absence of scrubs doesn't matter since you not only made Jimmy artwork (with your OWN screencaps, might I add), but it was animated as well.
