"The Missionary Position" - Following the murder of a Marine, Tony and Ziva join Ziva's longtime friend and mentor in Columbia in a search for a missing Marine Lieutenant and Navy Chaplain. Meanwhile, Jimmy Palmer decides who will be his best man, on NCIS, Tuesday, April 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jamie Lee Curtis ("Freaky Friday") returns as Doctor Samantha Ryan and Karina Lombard ("The L Word") guest stars as Retired Interpol Agent Monique Lisson, Ziva's longtime mentor.

Although in the promo there's a DOH! moment in the back ground. When Ziva's friend Karina are talking at the marina in that's suppose to be in Columbia , well you clearly see the island oil derricks with faux buildings in Long Beach Ca. harbor. Oops . If you lived in Southern California all you life like I have you'll catch it . But that a side it looks like it could be a great cool episode.

can't say it was good-good. it was okay. expected more, tbh.
I feel like it was all too much in one epi. Dr. Sam, Monique, the cartel, CSI, Jimmy.....Also felt the dialogues were a bit forced.
My expectations were too high after the break and it didn't deliver.

Is it just me, or was it cheesy that they skipped over the entire mission of freeing the Chaplain? All of a sudden McGee said they planted a bomb, then the mission was over.
Meanwhile, they spend all of this screen time on Gibbs's romance. Boo.
Anyone else annoyed with "relationship" Gibbs? I really hate when he's in one....

Although this episode didn't lead me to projectile vomit like our fearless leader Lelu I was disappointed and I give it a generous D grade. Its another case of trying to cram way too many plot lines in to a single episode and making a major mess of everything. First off really ABBY as best person? wtf? REALLY? Writers/producers note to self limit red bull/LSD intake to one can/ dose a day because the results are not cute just stupid. Honestly I really beginning to worry about who's running the show these days because this the 3rd really bad/wet fart episode this year and for me this season the bad to so so episodes out weight the excellent episodes. Finally I really want to see the whole team happy Gibbs , Tony, Ziva, Tim and Ducky. So I am not really happy to see Gibbs wasting his emotional time and effort on Dr Sam who has a dual Phd's in mind boinking /lying I can't see a positive out come for this relationship. Unless the producers take a equally insulting tact that Gibbs is going to be Dr Sam's salvation and save her from her evil self? Every week Gibbs catches her in lies, half truths , omissions of facts, its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or killed by Dr Sam's stupid mind games. Yeah this episode really bad. Even the production values are taking a hit like the visual blooper I mention a earlier post and there really no way to clean it up for the dvd set releases because it both islands are in multiple shot in the scene . BOOOO! And BOOOO to the Gibbs and Dr. Sam story.    |

This episode wasn't my cup of tea, but at least next week's looks promising. (Hopefully.)
The only thing I really liked about the episode was Abby being Best Woman, haha.
