;D Due to doing my sisterly duty and attending my brother's Holiday Concert (not bad), my sister watched "MB" for me.
Here are the highlights according to her: Ziva's actually watching the "Model Boot Camp", and Tony's jibe about what will happen if she keeps that up!
The "Paris Hilton" jokes-very funny and revealing about Tony and Ziva's game playing-she's more "celebrity savvy" then you think!
The "clown cake" scene-Abby and the cream filling and her playing with Gibbs-priceless!
Of course my sister figured out the killer within 15 minutes-but she still enjoyed it. Mark of a good show! ;D

This is from Gibbs' character profile at CBS.com, even though the award he was presented with during MB is a different award than the ones mentioned here.
"He has also inexplicably won the "NCIS Special Agent of the Year" award six times in the past decade.
**Note: subject has also failed to show up to receive award all six times."

You can set a timer on them and they'll record a show while you're out. That doesn't get you back for my fics, but it was still fun. ;D I've always said Gibbs is more a father figure to everyone and Ducky is more a grandfather to them. But a father figure to Gibbs. I loved when he walked into Abby's office and freaked her out. that one had me giggling for awhile afterwards. ;D Not nearly enough Ducky that is all

Word to that Batwoman! First the PTB put Director Shepard in front of Ducky in the credits -- then more screen time for her seems to mean less for Ducky. Flashbacks or Ducky -- know what I'd prefer!

On Chicago Hope, at least the season running right now on Discovery Health, the credits have Mark last, "With Mark Harmon." But yeah, I'd rather see Ducky scenes than Director scenes. I just had a thought. DMcC isn't ill, is he? I hope not.

Great point tweeter! I don't think David McC is ill or anything -- gosh I hope not! It just seems like since the director was added to the opening credits everyone except for her and Gibbs has less screen time.

That scene where Jenny called Gibbs and asked him where he was, and he walks into her office right behind her and said "I'm right behind you" cracked me up.
I found it very funny and still do because my older brother's friend pulled a stunt like that back in the early days of cordless phones. They lived 2 doors down from us in the city and he called my brother one day and walked over to the house on the cordless. My sister answered the door and found him on the phone with my brother, on a cordless. lol

She is not a strong director, at least not portrayed that way. that right there is about half the problem with jen. if she was presented as some sort of standard career gov' bearcat, that got the NCIS gig cause she's good at facalating the paper work making speeches and fronting for the press....in other word's a little bit of comic relief/miner obstacle for the team no problem. it's especially galling when ever she is trying to match wills with Gibbs (i don't know how much is writing and how much is acting chose). it really brought down the enjoyment of the show for me. other wise only one or two small niggles.

Really wasn't keen on this episode - except for the black roses Abby gave to Tony. I don't do flowers usually but I really liked those!!
Most irritating scene in the entire episode (and quite possibly the show's entire history!) was Jen obviously hinting to Gibbs about her haircut!!! WHAT THE!?! As IF Gibbs would ever notice (my vindication in that opinion came at the end when Tony asked Gibbs if he liked Jen's new haircut and he said "the Director's had a haircut?" - I knew it!!)! Surely she should've known that. As if it was important anyway! Can this woman EVER achieve any degree of professionalism here?! Hmph.
LOVED Tony asking for his magazine to be signed "To the Big D" - hahahahahaa!!!! And when he had to pull Ziva away from shooting the gobby model.
Was chuffed to note an actual Northern English actress (not to be confused with North Britain as that basically would be Scotland!) in an American show for a change as The Other Supermodel who drove her SUV into the foyer of... gosh what was the name of that club?!
I loved the Gibbs Attempting To Make A Joke And Utterly Failing scene when he told Abby she was getting a new assistant and he was like "that wasn't funny?! Well it was to me!"
*sigh* Can't wait for tonight's episode. I'm really going to miss NCIS when I move... *sob*

Gibbs probably noticed her hair but knew it would freak her out if he didn't say anything, that's what I thought when I saw the wide eyed innocent look he gave Tony when Tony mentioned it at the end ;D
Abby in cakeland was wicked.
The way Gibbs put his hand on the drugged marine's head to quiet him was so gentle.
Tony a.k.a. Big D!!! made me laugh out loud.
My reaction to supermodels is a lot like Ziva's and I don't care for reality TV so that put me off a bit but lots of good things to compensate.

*looks around for kelly* Hehe great ep but yeah too much Jen and the thing about the hair... Gibbs noticed I bet he did...I know he did heh heh McGee, Tony & Ziva - loved the interaction Abby & tony - the flowers...cute Gibbs & Abby - Loved Gibbs' attempt at a joke it had me in sitches Ducky: Not enough of him! (and Jimmy ;D ) Jenny - she has a serious problem if she is trying to attract Gibbs' attention LOL. And her reaction when Gibbs didnt turn up for the award and later on the phone was hilarious. And the reporter spilling Gibbs' coffee I thought I could hear a pin drop that Look on her face and poor Gibbs I thought "uh oh" --- My aww factor was the fact that Tony has been accepting the awards on Gibbs' behalf and storing them in a safe under his desk was soo sweet. Do you think Gibbs knows? that Tony has been keeping them?. --- McGee didnt say a word when Tony asked him to get the autograph lol he didnt even blink. And Ziva... in interrogation and like Gibbs said she doesnt want to tempt herself LOL. In this ep Im starting to come round to Ziva more. I still think Jenny is annoying ;D but lets see what happens ---

I've seen it twice now, I had to tape it because I was away when it aired here but upon viewing it a second time I've come to like it. It was an interesting enough story and for a moment he mislead me into thinking it was everyone but the girl's step father. What an idiot! Things I liked: Gibbs not turning up for his awards LMFAO! Shows you how many times Tony has had to take it on his behalf and I like the fact he's kept them now I have a theory or two about this. He keeps them for himself OR he could be keeping them for Gibbs incase one day he turns round and regrets it OR maybe I'm just reaching LOL! Ziva, really starting to like this woman. Gibbs' reaction when his coffee was spilt he looked about ready to kill the woman for that. Gibbs without his coffee = not good. Gibbs when he joked with Abby that she was getting a new assistant LMFAO! Autopsy Gremlin! And Tony's "dead" flowers Things I didn't like: Jen's new haircut, it may grow on me but I prefer it the way it was.

Did we ever hear whether the Marine who was drugged ended up surviving? I really liked him.
