I don't mind Ziva smacking Tony, at least if Gibbs gives permission. (Did anyone notice how she patted him on the head during Frame-up? It was so sweet.)
I'd like to see Tony be supportive of McGee, even protective. He's shown that before. I like that it shows a different side of him.

Well, umm not sure what to say. I enjoyed the episode but not as much as last weeks. It was weird seeing the NCIS team act as protection. The first scene was very well done. Loved how they got him in the car fast.
Abby- She was so sweet and perfect in this episode, but there wasn't enough of her tonight. I would have liked to see her cheer McGee up.
Gibbs- Perfect as always but a little too agitated. He had attitude tonight with a capital A. I haven't liked his scene's with DFF all season, but I enjoyed them tonight. Although he was funny when he laughed after finding the message about the sperm bank on Tony's desk lol I thought it was funny when Gibbs asked if someone broke a mirror because of what's been happening with Tony being framed and now what's up with McGee. I think it was a little out of character for him though. Also him going up to McGee and saying he let him down was strange to me, I don't know why.
Jen- Hmmm I liked her sticking up to Gibbs, but didn't enjoy another flash back. At least this one was only a small kiss. The writers are finally giving her some backbone. Is it just me or is her office bigger than any other room at NCIS? A little ridiculous there.
Tony- I was very glad to see him try to cheer up McGee. finding out that he wet his pants the first time he shot at someone, was a little more than I need to know lol. The whole deal with the sperm bank was hilarious, but I have no clue why we needed to know that lol. I was glad to see we weren't going to get any little Dinozzo's running around.
Ziva- OK I have pretty much liked her through out the season so far, but tonight I was annoyed. I like that she always sees the other side but tonight she was annoying me with it. I love telling her if she Gibbs slapped him again he would do it back harder. Her teasing him in the alley about the phone call was cute.
McGee- Perfect, the writing and scene's were perfect for him. Him talking to Tony was a very good scene. He had a wide range of emotions tonight.
Ducky- Not enough of him, lol
All in all I liked the episode and I liked how it turned out. I didn't figure out who did it, so I'm glad for that!

Can someone please tell me what was Tony's "troublesome phonecall" from the past?

When he was in college Tony donated sperm to a sperm bank in Ohio. They had been trying to get ahold of him all episode and at the end, he finally talked to them and it was because no one wanted his sperm. I find that hard to believe lol

Oh, my gosh!!!! There was no freakin' closure. McGee is gonna have to live with this for a very long time. I started crying so much more then I did on an earlier episode I believe I admitted crying during. Anyway, I cried because it was so emotional. This epiosde was so much darker than anything else I've seen. McGee got a psychological bashing of a lifetime and I honestly hated seeing it.
I also started disliking Ziva again. She pretty much wanted to see McGee sent to prison. At least that was my impression with how she acted. She was nice to him like once during the entire thing compared to the other episodes. And there was no need for her to concern herself with Tony's stuff like that. She fell back down on my radar.
Abby was great in this episode though. She was so much happier than in the last episode. Watching Jimmy's reaction to her want to assist in the autopsy was great. Then the hug she gave McGee was great as was her later offer to give him another. Of course, handcuffing him to the chair so he'd relax in the 'therapy' room was the only time I actually let out a laugh the entire time.
Gibbs really stuck up for his man and I loved him for it. I don't know what else to say about Gibbs in this episode, but he was more passionate about proving McGee didn't purposefully kill anyone than with Tony, but the last episode there was more evidence and different things going on. I loved his line about Chip. Gibbs was perfect though. He really has a heart underneath that steel exterior.
The guy would have shot McGee! When I watched it through the second time I realized this. If Gibbs hadn't been so quick with his gun then McGee could have been shot.
Overall this episode was good, but in such a dark way. I don't know if I'll watch it again soon until I'm prepared emotionally. We now have another layer to add to our characterization of McGee. I really hope it doesn't completely change him, but I can see how it would gradually.

Had to work last night so I setup the VCR before I left. Got home all ready to watch, but my machine had given up the ghost. Extreme dismay...utter dispair...not coping well...no NCIS...need my NCIS fix...must have NCIS...Ziva, where are you? AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

I just have to say that, despite my general dislike for Softy Gibbs, I was enjoying his protectiveness of McGee. And then they ruined it at the end with that horrible "I'll take your badge" cliche. I don't know what I would have wanted to see Gibbs do there, but all of a sudden snapping at McGee after being so understanding about everything else was seriously disappointing.

I don't know what I would have wanted to see Gibbs do there, but all of a sudden snapping at McGee after being so understanding about everything else was seriously disappointing. I thought that was very appropriate, though. He supported him during the roughest part and he was still supporting him. McGee almost got himself and Gibbs killed. Who knows, if he keeps doing that, keeps hesitating and second-guessing, he could get Tony or Ziva or Gibbs killed the next time. I can see him being so hard-nosed about it because of the potential risks. I loved how Gibbs went up to McGee earlier and admitted to letting him down.

GG, when you post these could you editorialize a little bit? There are alot of people who have no idea what these numbers mean. Even just a "this is good" or "this is bad" would be helpful.

He killed a terrorist in Twilight, the one that was shooting at him by the car. You don't see him die but McGee says he thinks he got him because he stopped shooting. -Shyeyes Actually, Tim said he didn't know if he got him or not, but he stopped shooting. Gibbs told him to hold his position and they'd flush him out. Then I think the terrorist (if it was the same one) popped out of the doorway and they got him on the roof. But McGee was shooting to kill, so the intention was there. i think you'll find that the terrorist McGee was shooting at the the season 2 finale was the one that kate took the bullet for (not her death bullet, the one she took in the vest) and gibbs shot the crap out of him
