nath it is from Flamingo Road, the TV series, not the movie, that is something different.

Nice pix.  The old survive a plane crash, only to be bitten by poisonous water snakes, then to be towed thru the swamp on an inflatable raft hopefully to be saved in the nick of time. They don't write 'em like that any more. ;D |

He and another guy are in a light aircraft flying back from the Bahamas not knowing that a voodoo curse has been put on it. They ditch in the Florida Everglades, survive that, but when MH's character goes to retrieve something, he gets bitten for his troubles by the 'moccasin' snake. The guy he is with has to tow him on the raft as MH can't stand up or walk much. He is lying there delirious, etc. Then the rubber raft deflates or is damaged, so they struggle on foot. They collapse, helicopter finally spots them & a hovercraft arrives, picks them up, MH is pretty much out of it. They load him on to it & they get back to a ranger station, whereupon the medics come along & MH wakes up to be greeted by his wife & his sometime lover. Pretty much the usual soap fare. |
