If this was a Mark Harmon board it would be easy. It's not.  We would have to open threads for all the other characters also. That would defeat one of our goals which is to STOP opening new threads.  Maybe a separate forum for character vids/pics, or a thread for vids only, or whatever would work. I'll take it up with the MOD SQUAD.  Everything that I download goes on a DVD, CD, Zip, little floppy AND external drives. I've never lost anything. And they laugh at me for being so anal. ;D ;D ;D ;D Hmmm, I wonder what Gibbs would say to his own video thread. I'll have to think about that. [/URL]     |

lol....we are two then ;D ;D
I save all in dvd and cd, 3 of them got corrupted. I saved twice in different places the rare stuff....the rest has nicely been shared again from the fantastic Marcia!
Thank you for considering a place for videos or large files.I guess one thread would work for all the team.With no replies, only posting of links or requests it should be able to not grow too much.
Old posts with links re-uploaded can still be edited.
As for pics, in another fandom we used to set up a photobucket ( or any other site) account for the message board where everyone could log in and add pictures. Old members and newbies had only to check the album to find new addictions or find old pics posted.

That's a wonderful idea, but I'm not sure how we could convince our members to not reply, (or drool) in the thread. We've been trying to do that in the Media thread in DATAFEED. That's an idea I haven't heard before. I shall present all this to the MOD SQUAD, and when they finish pommeling me for even thinking of opening new threads - I'm sure they will sit down and carefully consider ALL options.  Whoops - I'm back to post some pix.      |
