I've seen one actor whose name escapes me at the moment. He was at Universal Studios. I didn't approach him though - was too nervous in case I was wrong. But he played one of the Marshals on The Fugitive and US Marshals movies and also played a real pain in the rear end on Nash Bridges.
My uncle got to golf with Canadian actress Cynthia Dale though, at a charity tournament, and then he and his wife had dinner with her. They said she was very nice.
And I met Canada's 2000 Olympic bronze medalists Karen Cockburn and Mathieu Turgeon and got them to autograph my Olympic International Gymnast issue. That was cool.

I've met most of the actors from Due South. Other than that, I don't think I've met any actors... oh, other than Rudolf Martin (missed Pancho Demmings). I'm really nervous and shy and have trouble talking to people I lust after. I have no idea what I'd say or do around Mark or Michael. I think I'd stammer. A lot. Heck, I do that when I'm nervous around "regular" people! I sure hope Mark and Michael show up at this year's Fanfest. |

James MacArthur. James Stacy. Ron Harper (the actor, not the basketball player). William Shatner. George Takei. A character actor whose name escapes me right now but he guested in an episode of Garrison's Gorillas, Kevin somebody-or-other. Rudolf Martin (I also missed Pancho Demings). Dennis Cole. Richard Dawson. Jonathon Winter. Flip Wilson. And some others whose names I can't recall right now, but I've been to a couple of those Hollywood Collectors Shows events. I haven't posted in the NCIS dreams thread because I'm embarrassed by the fact that in my one and only NCIS dream, I spent my entire set visit avoiding Mark Harmon because I didn't want to seem like a pest. Well, like speaking in partial sentences expecting you to figure out the rest. Or when I asked for the picture, he was just giving me a grin asking: "You want us both to be on that picture?" Or when he asked if I had something to sign and something to sign with, I gave him the photo and my usual autograph pen, which he just inspected thouroughly darting his eyes between the pen and me before cracking a smiling: "You came prepared, Mel." Just things like that. Cheers, Kibbslover That is just so neat! ;D Are you still walking on air at the memory of the moment? I'd be so lost as far as what to say to probably any of the cast, definitely to Mark or Michael. I'd just be standing there frozen on the spot  or speachless. Carol |

My first guess was he appreciated that there wasn't a wive to complain his poor aim. On second thought: I believe he's that kind of a gentleman who always cleans up in case...at least at home. (Don't think he sits down though) On third thought: No way he has a poor aim in the first place On fouth thought: Are we obsessed...eventually...a little??? ;D Great caps anyway. Could we have more? |
