They dye the Chicago River green (the powder is orange, weird) It's a marker dye that's also used in the oil fields. Don't wanna get it on your skin; it takes forever to come out of your pores. And if we take this roadtrip through Chi-Town, we can stop by MSI and visit the U-505. Last time (okay, only time!) I was there, it was still in the outside display. And I wasn't dissing a fine Chi-Town tradition ; I just found it shocking that the Germans, of all people, would turn beer green.

Erm... that's history since 1989. There's only one city now and you can visit the Brandenburg Gate and even walk through it whatever part of Berlin you are visiting - East or West... i know, i am a berlin kid, by the way^^ no wall doesn't mean no two cities

OOh, are you bringing a couple of bocksbeutels of frankenwein too ? can't get it in England... Since I live in the heart of the wonderful Frankenland I can bring Bocksbeutel if you want. No problem at all. Any special requests? Nothing is to be had more easily than Frankenwein here. ;D Bambi can bring some, too. She lives right outside Würzburg, another big wine town. These are from the Hammelburg wine association (that's where my mom's from). Bambi can bring some, too. She lives right outside Würzburg, another big wine town. Edited to add: Holy guacamole, this thread is on fire. People, we're on page 8 already. New thread title needed. We had Culture and Camping and Roadtrip to Gibbsland. Vote or submit other suggestions, please. Actually, don't go. Stay and vote!

Only if we can watch the chickens hatch. Sure, you have to stand and stare for awhile, but it's fun.
OHHH, they have a CSI exhibit where you solve a crime! That should be fun. The clones are not allowed to participate, they have the skills cloned from the real guy... and he can't participate either. They can just laugh at us as we fumble with the evidence.
Psssst... Chicagoans do not like the term "Chi-Town." Just like folks from San Francisco don't like "Frisco". At least that's what I've always heard - doesn't explain the "Chi-Town Pizza" down the street from me. That's why I don't get pizza from there, even though it's by-the-slice.

Me to for the Roadtrip What does that mean, you lost your clone? To whom? Maybe the gang could volunteer in a little search and rescue!

To be honest I think I applied for a clone too early, I wasn't ready to settle down, and make room in my life for someone else, basically I like being on my own. At the time my clone was supplied he was rougher than he is now, he hadn't shown his caring side, so did not try and bring me round to the idea that we could make a go of it, if we both compromised. It wasn't his fault that he left, maybe now I've seen the caring side, I should apply for a reissue. If I come on the road trip, spend time with your clones, perhaps I'll get some tips. He has his own supply for the trip. Found another boat picture.

Oh, I know what you mean. I myself have been thinking about locking him up in the basement a couple of times.

[What does that mean, you lost your clone? To whom? Maybe the gang could volunteer in a little search and rescue! We can find him mchnelson, joint effort. We could put a few of our clones up to it, they know how he's thinking. You won't need a re-issue, just turn him in to us and we'll do some tweaking in the cloning lab. You'll get him back good as new. Okay, whose clones are volunteering for the search and rescues mission for mchnelson's clone? Count mine in (he doesn't know it yet but he's thrilled). Bambi and Mel, your clones are coming along nicely. They're almost done and ready for testing. Brought along some English guide books about Berlin, for those of you who wanna have a look beforehand. bbb can fill us in on the rest, I'm sure.

Bambi can bring some, too. She lives right outside Würzburg, another big wine town. Sure, just tell me if you prefer a special kind. Actually, I have no clue about wine. But hey, I'll just get some opinions from colleagues and go buy some Bocksbeutel. SG, I am glad to hear about my clone! Meeting him first time on a road trip sounds like tons of fun! And count me in for Roadtrip to Gibbsland!

scuttlebutt: Sorry, but it sounded like you meant you can visit only from one side. Like back in the old days when you could look at it over the wall from the eastern side, for anything else you had to approach it from the west Anyways. Roadtrip to Gibbsland got my vote. Anything special I should prepare prior the arrival of my clone? Or is it enough to make sure there's enough honeydust in the house Yap, I think it shouldn't be a problem to find mchnelson's clone. The other clones will definitely remember where they used to hide back then. And they will also teach him how to open up a bit and become a nicer softer (cuddlier) person See ya on the road Mel
