There are two versions of Presidio. One edited and one with the true stuff. That's the regular one you get here in Germany for instance and in the UK probably but not in the US. You see what we are talking about here! And what will be our next title? We have "Howdy, Pardner" and I also still like "Papa Smurf".

Good god, this thread is humming with activity today. Okay, what exactly is that wonderful collage of MH sexy and why is it on the Presidio DVD? Please enlighten me and surely I'll have to make sure to get the right version and I'll just put it next to Sweet Bird of Youth on the Mark Harmon shelf in the Gedächtnisbibliothek, my hubby can take it! Well, I hope he can... *starts contemplating that secret drawer mentioned by bbb* Your best bet for hiding books/DVDs - take the second from the bottom drawer out of your dresser. Drop the DVD/Book into the space behind the bottom drawer - it rests on the wooden support like a little shelf. Then replace the drawer. Just look out if you ever have to pull your bottom drawer out - you'll have to do that all over again. Used to do that all the time with my journal as a kid. Oh, for pity's sake, my clone is heading in the direction of the dresser now with a gleam in his eye. (Yells after him, "I said as a kid! I keep a journal on the computer now - and it's password protected." Clone says something about recruiting a few McGee clones to help)

Okay, so we're simply talking the unfiltered "Give it to me baby, aha aha" because what mchnelson posted was this collage from various movies with music like a fanvid and I got confused. The US version is rated R so it could be unedited. Hmmm, I'll have to find out before I buy it.
Edited to add: Thanks Meg, I'll remember that.
I feel unable to decide on a thread title right now, I'll get back to you.

Why, do you have to US version tweeter Enlighten me. It wouldn't surprise me if it was missing some stuff. The first time I saw Dirty Dancing (here we go again bbb) in the US I was like 'Hey, where'd half my movie go?' I mean coooome on, censoring Dirty Dancing? That's overly prudish.

The US version is definately missing that sex scene! I even researched it first, was led to believe it was the 'good' version, it was slightly longer than a previously released version... but, sadly, it was still a minute or two shorter than mchnelson's version and those missing minutes.... *bursts into tears again* I live for mchnelson's video!! ;D

Don't feel so bad, whenever they show the film on a UK TV station, they never show it either.

That settles it, I'll by the good version from amazon.de then.

Oh geeport, I like that. Our honey of a gunny and NCIS top dog surely is the real stuff. Got my vote! Special Agent Gibbs: The Real Stuff. Edited to add: Then geeport can use that now-famous cap for her updated banner - The Real Stuff!

I like it. All I can think is of The Velveteen Rabbit wanting to be real. And how do we make the character of Gibbs real. Say, wasn't that velvet Gibbs wore on Sharif Returns? And I think he wore it on another ep as well.

Yep, that luscious grey jacket has been a couple of episodes (but I can't think of any right now). Every time I see it on him I just want to lay my head on his chest and rub my face against it. Hey, I can dream can't I? Also have seen mchnelson's presidio clip and it is YUMMY! Well worth the effort needed to track it down.... "The Real Stuff" gets my vote.

Yeah... you should definitely get the real stuff Hiding the diary underneath a drawer? Did that myself... and in addition to that I wrote it in English so that even if my parents found it they wouldn't understand a word Thread is coming to a close... I like the Papa Smurf idea. Would even call it "Papa Smurf on the bat" since I totally expect more Oklahoma pics in the thread to come Cheers, Mel
