Good lord, I can't believe how quickly the Gibblets manage to fill threads up!! It seems like it was only the other day you'd started "Breathe and Reboot"!! Anyway, I digress. I think you all know me well enough by now to note that although I am a fan of LJG and think he's a groovy guy, and that I totally love all the Gibblets because you're all a bunch of loonies (in the best possible way!!!) - I can't actually put my hand on my heart and say that MH actually does anything for me in a sort of *rowwrrrrr*-y type way. I know, I'm weird. I can't even justify this because he's totally my type. It's just one of those many mysteries of life - like why the buttered side of a piece of toast always lands on the floor, and why there's always one teaspoon left at the bottom of the wash basin after you've finished cleaning the dishes... However. I was just checking out the last thread and was confronted by this:  One word. [glow=red,2,300] PHWOOAAARRGGGGHHHH!!!![/glow] Thanks, I'm glad I got that out of my system. I'll get me coat.................. |

I am a fan of LJG and think he's a groovy guy It's just one of those many mysteries of life - like why the buttered side of a piece of toast always lands on the floor I've never thought about Gibbs as "groovy" ;D. But it makes a nice image. And the mystery about the toast that always falls on its "face". I learned the other day that's because the height of the average table from which said toast usually falls and the natural acceleration by gravity only gives time for the toast to make a half turn. Would the table be somewhat higher it could complete a whole turn and land on the unbuttered/unjammed side.  But then when the height is too much it has time to do one and a half turns, so there you go again... So just hold tight to the darn toast, Probette, that's the whole mystery!  |
