There's a slightly different version of the 100th birthday celebration on the CBS site to the one that was on the Yahoo TV site. Sean says different things AND Brian's there AND interviewed. Yes, an interview with Brian Dietzen. Just click on the 'View Now' button on the bottom left of the page. www.cbs.com/primetime/ncis/ and do 'watch now' on the 100th epsiode.

Amazing! Seems everyone seems to consider him regular material except TPTB. Oh well - maybe next year. And I'm from Saskatchewan - "Next Year Country" is nothing unfamiliar to me, LOL!

Now, I have to comment on the commentary on the DVD set. One reviewer on the internet said that the commentary by David McCallum and Brian Dietzen was the best of the set. I actually have to agree with that. They were wonderfully on topic, gave bits of insight and demonstrated why they can pull off playing two generations of medical examiners (though technically Jimmy is still working on becoming one fully and officially) so flawlessly - they have wonderful chemistry!
One more thing that Brian mentioned and he and David discussed briefly was to acknowledge the loss of Michael Gilden. I recognized the scene earlier on with Abby IM'ing with Marty and I wondered if later on it would be mentioned, and it was.

I finally got the season 4 dvds for Chiristmas. I agree with what everyone says about the commentary - the BD, DMC one was the best.
I have a question. BD says we know Jimmy lives in an apartment with his mother. Can anyone quote me an episode reference because I'm having a hard time finding it? It probably isn't a spoiler. If they'd mentioned it recently, I'd know about it.
And a second question - why did they use a season 3 promo shot for the front cover? McGee is wearing a tie.

Nobody is commenting on the fantastic Jimmy scenes from "Tribes" ?? Crickets, where is your loyalty?? Where's the Jimmy Love? We wait weeks for a new episode and when we get it it's got bunches of Jimmy, and nobody comments...? Or perhaps we're all just stunned that he had so many delicious scenes...

I will. I'm not a Cricket and also I just got the chance to see Tribes. Still my first thoughts afterwards were I usually don't comment on an episode after seeing it only once but I'll have to make my way over to the Crickets' thread and say how much I enjoyed Brian's performance and the part they gave Jimmy in this episode. To me it was a big leap in character development away from scared little Jimmy who can't finish a sentence when Gibbs is in the room to the medically competent conspirator we saw at Bethesda. Bravo! Just makes me wonder what they had planned for Jimmy for the rest of the season and how will we ever find out...

Yeah I agree with SG some great character developement there. Esp. the part where he actually questions ducky's decision in the hospital. He would never have done that before. Obviously a great episode for David McCallum too.
