Opening LineDarkness closed around him as he fell. Closing Line"The fingerprints are definitely a match."[/b] There you go... I hope that gets your creative juices flowing. And I promise, I'll have the August Challenge up on time next month. Or you really can come and beat me...

Okay... here is the Late September Challenge.
And as a consolation for the delay... (sorry folks, life here has been nuts, you don't wanna know!) You get to pick which line you want to use first.
So without further ado, here are your lines... write yourselves silly!
Line One "That dog bites!"
Line Two "Where have you been?!"

The thread is usually for the monthly challenges to be posted... but we haven't kicked out any of the other challenges that people have posted. I suppose if you want to post it here, that would be all right.

This one will keep them occupied for awhile. Ok, here goes, and yes I know, I'm not right in the head. I've been having fun with this idea recently, must be the start of the new season. But my original thought was pick your favorite team to solve the mystry of your death, ie CSI, NCIS, etc. So to narrow it down to NCIS, it's pretty much the same thing. Write yourself into a fic, not as a Mary Sue, but as the victem. Use things in your personal life that either only you know, are quirks about you, etc, and how the team would react to finding out that tidbit. Obviously write yourself in a way that would be plausible for the team to investigate, most likely in the Navy, or not but possibly connected in a way that would require them to investigate. For instance, I can be considered a nerd or geek (as I call myself) of various things. Tony finds out about this and hassles McGee about if only McGee and I had met while I was still alive, we'd make the perfect couple. or something like that. I'd say my only limitation is you can't turn yourself into a (very dead) Mary Sue. If you saw my LJ profile and that long list of interests, or even looked at my resume, you might think I'm a living, breathing Mary Sue. But in reality, I just happen to be interested in a lot of things and good at just about as many things. So whose up for the challenge? I actually have this going in my head, don't know if I'll ever get it written down though, way too busy right now.

And it's time for the Novemeber Challenge!
Here are your lines:
Opening Line "It looks like a moose to me."
Closing Line "I swear, it came out of nowhere!"
Let's see how original you can be with these! Good luck!
