Meg, I just wanted to say thank you again for your Gibbs' marriages 101 in the continuity errors.
I read 'Learning To Live Again' and I absolutely loved it. I wish RL left me more time to read fanfic but I'm actually supposed to read all about 20th century British lit and the representation of gender so there's a real conflict of interest. I'll get around to the rest of your stories sooner or later.

I plan on updating the Gibbs bio sooner or later and trying to do bios for the other characters as well. When RL permits, of course!

RE: When It's Your Time
I had my first NCIS-inspired dream the other week, but I think this fic floating around my subconscious also played a part.
It was a very brief flash, almost like a clip from a preview.
In my dream, it seemed that McGee's sequel to Deep Six finally came out. He arrives at work one morning, and Ziva and Tony are waiting for him. It appears they'd read said sequel, and there must have been a female agent who'd met her demise in the book.
In a somewhat joking and disparaging manner, Tony asks McGee if he'd based the character on Jenny. A sober McGee answers seriously, "No, Paula."
Instant silence from Tony.
Ziva looks concerned. She goes over to Tony, links her hand with his and says something like "You miss her, don't you?"
End of dream.
That's got to be one of the most 'realistic' TV-show dreams I've ever had in my life.
