Ozgeek, thanks for your info. We have a region 0 DVD player so I'm hopeful that a region 2 DVD will play on it OK. I've never heard of any companies in the US that will transfer tapes the way you mentioned. I guess my best hope is that someone in the UK could get this tape and transfer it to DVD for me.

UNCLE boxed set dvds are out.

"U.N.C.L.E." devotees will have their fondest wish fulfilled today when the entire 105-episode series is released on DVD - packed in an attache case, appropriately - via direct marketing by Time Life Video (timelife.com).

I've been in a bit of an MFU phase for the last couple of days. Incidentally, has anyone got the DVDs yet??? And does anyone know if there's any more info on Shipping Overseas?? If anyone's got 'em and can tear themselves away for half a minute, tell us what you think - packaging, quality of the DVDs, extras, anything. I'm so interested to find out!!

Anyway - I was watching one of the movies, I think it was The Helicopter Spies. Anyway, the Random Blonde in it was in HQ and she'd been caught trying to escape and she said to Illya, without batting an eyelid or blushing or cracking a smile or ANYTHING: "Oh, I was just admiring your equipment!"

I haven't stopped laughing yet.

I knew if any group of people would understand my outburst it would be my fellow Divas!! Thank you for listening!
