Okay, this... MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY BASKETBALL, MUST BE WILLING TO LAY NAKED ON AN AUTOPSY TABLE, MARINE HAIRCUT REQUIRED ... cracked me up. (Boldface mine) I don't see the AWOL thing, either, SG.

Count me in on not seeing the word(s) AWOL anywhere in the description.
Also, calling the Green Zone "plush" is just plain wrong. The place is still very very dangerous.

The camps inside the green zone are pretty nice (and I wasn't kidding about the three pools either). Mind you, I'm not saying Baghdad is a holiday resort, not by a long shot, but if you gotta be in Baghdad, that's probably the best place to be.
Right, back on topic, I'm glad it's not my eyes about the AWOL thing.

From Spoilerfix today: Episodes 5.17 and 5.18: In the Zone and Title Unknown (Season finale) Airdate: May 20, 2008 04/09 - A Marine Captain is killed while playing a game of Basketball with a few buddies in Iraq. The dead Captain was not only a National Reserve, but also a succesful investment banker. Tony and Jardine go to Iraq to investigate, while Ziva, Mcgee and Gibbs do so in the USA. Source: SpoilerFix.com Marcia What the heck? When did this become part of the season finale and what is the new ep 5.15? This leaves one episode unaccounted for.

the fact that were going to meet the assistant director further reinforces my belief that Jen is the one leaving. Never in the shows history have we seen or even heard of the existance of an Assistant Director, which come to think of it is daft because all federal agencies have one (or more). When Jen went to France in S4 the Assistant or Deputy Director would have been left in charge not a field agent (Gibbs). So the fact that there now bringing one in makes me think there introducing her eventual successor.

While it was funny to see Gibbs try to be the acting director that I think that during Jenny's trip to France would've been a time that we normally should've seen the Assistant Director, but, we didn't and I don't think that the assistant director would be introduced now out of the blue for no apparent reason.

I never thought about Ziva being worried about Tony.
He WILL be in Baghdad after all.

I think the new asst. director will be replacing Jen as well, although they could surprise us. I also hope the recurring female agent will be back next season. However, just to explain Jen's leaving Gibbs in charge, it's possible the asst. director position was unfilled or that he was also on a trip. Plus, her sadistic side probably enjoyed it.

yeah, with jenny possibly being sick, this advent of an assistant director seems like a set up for jenny either kicking the bucket or retiring

one more reason i find Nikki going to Baghdad really hard to believe, germa-phobes hate airplanes. so a germaphobe flying 8+ hours in a flying cesspool only to arrive in a war zone thats essentially a thrid world country with third world sanitation and third world cooking practices. This is starting to sound really really far fetched and im really starting to think the spoilers are wrong.
I also am not a big fan of Nikki and im hoping she doesn't recur this often going forward.

Maybe she'll be wearing a hazmat suit. Nikki, is that you playing teletubbie? (C'mon, celestial and I would love it, if only for the SWAK reference!)
