Airfares crashed so I booked a round trip flight from Chicago to Los Angeles for $219.

Thought I'd look and see if the UK airfares had crashed seeing Tweeters post. Interesting thing. The US American Airways site has London to LA return (starting in the UK so first leg is from London) for $465, if I look for exactly the same flight times on the UK site it is £417. Now if you do a currency conversion (today) that gives you a fare of £314.37 for the same flight but the UK site is over £100 more than the US site. Rip Off Britain indeed  |

to the uk peeps, how did you reserve the hotel ? - theres no way i want to give out my card details and i was really planning by paying with cash there anyway, has anyone else done this in the past ?
