'lo :3 I've booked my hotel now too, I'm staying at garlands between the 23rd and the 28th. Got a room with two beds, still looking for a room mate, PM me if you're interested. Hey, btw, how hot was it last year? I'm gonna melt or just burst into flames. <_<;

Normally, that time of year will have us in Santa Ana conditions. These are the hot, dry winds which blow into the LA Basin from the desert, through the Santa Ana River Canyon (hence the "Santa Ana winds" moniker!). These are the "fire season" winds, when everything has dried (this is a semi-arid desert) and the dry winds off the desert make it even drier. So it could be hot and dry, as it was the first year. Or it could be "June Gloom" hot and humid, even in September, even though "humid" is not normal for the area. It's a coin toss.

Thanks for answering. I'm probably going to burn however it turns out ;_; Gonna stock up on sun lotion factor 1000000 or something. Dunno how to prevent the melting though. But it will be worth it :-D

(UK) American Airlines are having a sale. I've seen £351 return LHR to LAX direct 23 - 28 dates. Just in case any Brits were thinking of going.

If any fellow Brits are thinking of going, can I point you at ASDA travel. I looked today and if I was prepared to do stop overs in Charlotte (?), flying from Gatwick 23 - 27 (really late flight so getting virtually the whole of Sunday in) with BG hotel included was less than £600. You might want to try the dates etc you need with ASDA. Disclaimer ;D I don't work for them or anything but they usually have good deals. I keep looking in case the set visit is back on this year. BTW I've never been to Charlotte, so was happy to visit the airport for a few hours ;D

You're not too late to register, but the price is a bit higher now. I'd say email the folks at ncisfanfest.com and see what kind of help they can offer. But it is easy to book the hotel online or you can look upthread a bit and mchnelson found a great deal for combined flight and hotel. Good luck! ;D
