Now that's an interesting cast list......we got David Dayan Fisher, I didn't think I'd see Trent Kort hanging around in LA, this could get very very interesting!!
And I see they've got the O'Donnell kids in this playing the younger version of adult characters, how cute! I do wonder if people are gonna recognize Charlie from a previous episode where he played the son of the woman that Callen was close to in an undercover op.
Well, sounds good! I can't wait!

I knew that Kort was going to pop in somewhere. Can't wait either and it's next week, can you believe that?

I gotta say I really like the way they're expanding the continuity between the two shows with Kort popping up. Its really pretty awesome kinda like how Marvel's creating their own little universe with they're films by having cross cameos and stuff, its really a pretty ingenious idea.

It was okay, it asked more questions than answered, plus... I actually like that it asked more questions than answered, I mean, this is still a young show, leaving more things to mysteries and imagination is a good move and not giving everything away from the first moment. Definitely a good solid first-time season finale! Kort is still an ass But that's not really a spoiler, am I right? Ha! LOL! ;D I don't think that is a spoiler, I just wish someone would please toss Kort off a bridge, or a cliff, or a very high building....

I absolutely loved it...esp. that scene when Callen was at that lady's house to find Amy and she showed him the photos of the many orphans she took in. I've never seen Callen so vulnerable and when that tear drop fell, I fell apart for him. Wonderful job by Chris O'Donnell.

Wonderful season finale. Have to say, as far as finale's go, this one was better for me than NCIS.
At the end, we were yelling at the tv: Who's watching Callen? Who? WHO?! I knew they wouldn't show us.
Personally, I love Kort. He's like Clay from JAG. The evil good guy. Just giving the guys enough info to do his job for him -- then he comes in and takes over. That's how I see him, anyway. Was he checking out Kensi? Especially when he made the comment about transferring to LA.

Kort has grown on me and become the kind of guy you love to hate. He knows what he's doing and hes ruthless but at the same time he doesn't bother trying to get people to like him. I also really like the hint at a back story between Callen and Kort, would love to see more of that history.
As far as the episode as a whole their were parts of it that I liked and quite a few that I didn't. The story line was kind of annoying. I did however like Callen's Jason Bourne-esque rampage accross LA.
Definitely not enough Kensi for my mind though, also yet again Nate scene was great although he did take the goofy part of the scene a bit to far.
I still say Peter Cambor has been the most consistently impressive member of the cast in terms of making the most of what little screen time he gets.
I've enjoyed Linda Hunt's work but Cambor is the one that really impresses and frustrates me as he simply hasn't been utilized enough. All his work this season can be lumped into three categories: comic-relief, occasional emotional moment and sporadic appearances to rattle off a brief and relatively un-insightful psych profile. In the back door pilot I was immediately impressed with his character because they wrote him like he was this genius in his field who could read people like House or Lightman from Lie to Me, but who also had a great dry wit and easy going demeanor like Jane from the Mentalist. Since then they've either played him as a goofy fool which is fun at times and annoying at other times. the final scene with Hetty showed again that the mans got skills and he's very smart. I hope next season they use him more seriously, I'd like to see him used as a Lightman-esque interrogator. I'd also like to see a return of the smart dry wit to replace the feckless goofy humor, especially with dealing with the rest of the team.
