Officer Krupke, a sly reference to Natalie Wood (West Side Story)was mildly amusing. Other than seeing Rachel Luttrell it was a totally forgettable episode.
RW and MW have no chemistry.

I liked it. Actually I liked it a lot. I gave it a 9. I really enjoyed Tony's attempts to manoeuvre himself onto the case. The cake scene, wrestling with McGee. And not forgetting that he figured out the key piece of evidence. The balance of humour vs drama in this episode was spot on. Yes I know we were all yelling at Gibbs & Co to check Daddy's blood for roofies as it was obvious that he'd beed drugged - but hey, this is popcorn TV and I enjoyed this week's ride. One downside of the ep - should have had more Rachel Luttrell. Hopefully she will be back.

Loved it! I was so hopeful that Sins of the Father would make up for the abysmal Broken Arrow and boy did it. Just a few of the things that made it a 10 for me:
First - there was no humiliation humor going on. Last seasons episode was all about everyone from Senior to Gibbs to the rest of the team thinking it was funny that Senior was behaving in a way that could have hurt Tony's career at NCIS.
Continuity - Senior showing up to Tony's school but not actually attending his graduation ceremony. Made me feel really bad for 17 year old Tony. Put me in mind of the totally absent Chief Petty Officer Mayo - Zach's father in An Officer and a Gentleman. Can imagine Tony looking around for his dad after the ceremony and him not being there.
Gibbs knowing what Tony did when he thought his father stood him up for their dinner - watched a John Wayne/Claire Trevor film and Gibbs knew which one. Made me wonder if Tony went to talk to Gibbs after Senior didn't call.
Tony and Tim wrestling over the folder containing info on Senior's case.
Gibbs/Senior scenes. Gibbs: I didn't do it for you. I did it for your son. He deserves better. and Tony never wanted your money. He wants a father. Tony/Gibbs scene: Tony: I really thought I was going to lose him there for a second. And as crazy as he makes me... I do love the guy. The pathetic thing is I've never been able to tell him. Mmmm. Senior coming in from Gibbs kitchen: Consider it done, Junior. (And for the record, I love that Senior calls Tony, Junior)
Tony and Abby got a scene. This shouldn't need to be a cause for celebration but they're so rare these days I just couldn't help being overjoyed to see one. We even got a hug.
Tony disobeying orders and putting the pieces together to find the crucial piece of information that cleared his dad - talking to his father to find out where Senior was going to be taking him and then to the bartender and finding out that Senior "left" with the Secretary from Massey. BINGO!
