Hmmm this could be fun I'm guessing this is going to be another crime story as Macguffin so other non crime personal stores can be told. I love it when Tony's dad shows reminds me of what Alexander Mundy would be like 44 years after. And I love Robert Wagner as Tony sr. We already got papa Gibbs earlier this year. So I knew Tony's dad would soon show so I'm guess Ziva's dad is coming again soon?

So I knew Tony's dad would soon show so I'm guess Ziva's dad is coming again soon? Next episode he'll be around I liked this episode. Not as much humor in it as the previous had. I liked Palmer and Ducky together, I loved Ziva removing the crumbs from McGee's mouth. It all looks so easy and natural. The case, as always, is necessary, but not the main purpose. I hope as from this episode on Tony really gets on with his father. Otherwise it will be too much, this yes or no relationship. Great to have a peek into Tony's sanctuary.

Really like this episode tony and his dad A- to A+ , crime story C+ but it was really just a Mcguffin. Tony's apartment was interesting and we still see the fall out from disastrous Jeanne relationship and his fathers de mentoring as a role model has impacted Tony. His apartment is his fort against the world where he goes to be safe and secure all be it alone. I think in away that's what hurt Tony senior most, for the 1st time senior realizing how badly he messed up his son with intimate relationships. I truly think Seniors worried that Tony will die alone never knowing the joy and happiness of the love that Senior had with Tony's Mom. And unfortunately for senior his own personal weakness (boinking tony's neighbor) keep getting in the way expanding there relationship as father and son. The ending was nice but bittersweet reality of their relationship. Tony loves his very flawed father and is coming to terms with seniors flaws. For Tony senior he's trying to make amends with his son (ie the signet ring), Senior knows although his son loves him, Senior does not have is sons respect (Gibbs has that) so Senior ability to influence Tony(even if it's to avoid Seniors mistakes) is very limited. A Great Christmas episode.
