I don't think my sailor-father ever gave up wearing skivvy shirts, so I'm not at all surprised that Gibbs still wears them.

No worries brighteyes, i'm glad you liked them Its great to hear that i'm not the only ncis obsessed aussie who is up at that hour ;D lol. I guess working as a nightfiller til midnight and having a laptop with wireless internet is a bad combination for a persons sleeping pattern I know what you mean, although I work during the day I just recently bought a laptop and have an internet connection in my bedroom lol I'm often watching an NCIS ep while doing something NCIS related on my comp If the boards are a bit quiet I'll work on a music vid or something. It's worse if I don't get time to feed my obsession during the day. Besides, that's the time other fans from around the world are online - a good time for spoilers lol.

i think undershirts are part of the past - just like women's slips. i still wear one, but the girls in my Sunday school class are like: "what's a slip?" ;D That's because most of the 'skirts' the girls are wearing these days are so small and tight, they couldn't get a slip under there if they tried! Just keep on chatting, gals! ;D mchnelson: I'd say: Gibbs doesn't need to take his shirt off to show what he has, but on the other hand who'd mind if he did.

Agent Lee and Jimmy Palmer!! I died laughing when he took his glasses off... that was PRICELESS...
episode's not done yet but so far, I'd say this is my favorite of the season!
ETA: Finished watching. More stuff to share...
Oh, you guys are going to love this. The Marine that Gibbs was talking to in MTAC? Same actor who played Major Sacco in Missing.

Love. (x-posted from my LJ... w/ some edits. ;D) Highlights: + Ducky's comment "I prefer a good shag" + Abby looking at the crime scene photo like a piece of art! SO CUTE!! And hey, that photo did look good. ;D McGee was all like "huh?" + Jimmy/Lee having sex in autopsy!!! I TOTALLY did not see that coming. FINALLY!! Two character have sex on screen. ;D + La Grenouille mentioned again!!! MYSTERY!! + Tony shirtless & McGee shirtless! I wish we saw more, but alas, they can't show it all. ;D ... speaking of which... Gibbs: "McGee, take your shirt off" Tony: "Oh, here we go." (Ziva leers) ;D Then McGee taking Tony's shirt... omg. + Tony stealing Ziva's deodorant... LOLZ!! And he had his shirt half open so... mmmmm.. + THE SUBTEXT (Brokeback Mountain! ) OMGZ, I died. + Gibbs without the 'stache + Tony in a suit!!! AGAIN!!! LOVE!!! + Tony: "I instantly went to the sex place" + DUCKY FIGURED IT OUT!! BOOOOYAH!! I love it. + Ducky and Gibbs are still cold towards one another. + Tony: "Ducky, is there a way to psychologically 'unsee' something?" (LOLZ!!) + McGee recording the "chick fight" and Abby's reaction to seeing it. So much love for this episode. ;D

Moose, I think you and I were writing down the same favorite lines. Good shag and the sex place... classic.
Also... *McGee responded without hesitation the exact number of seconds it takes him to put on a shirt. *Was I the only one blowing on my wedding ring? I doubt it. (And yes, it's real.) *La Grenouille involves a shipment to Somalia... weapons perhaps? I'm 99.5% certain now that it does NOT involve a French restaurant in Manhattan.*Jenny's all "Need to know" again... I cannot WAIT to see the look on Gibbs' face when he learns that Tony has been in on all of this... *Jimmy/Lee is probably the only shipping that would not ruin the show. *Abby trying to determine what kind of underwear Gibbs wears... *And seriously! Major Sacco! I mean, I know they had to give him a different name and all, since he DIED in Missing, but what, did they think we wouldn't notice? (I just watched Missing for the 845th time last night...)

My quick thoughts: Yay, Jimmy's back! Getting in everyone's way, but he's back! I loved the way he slaps Tony on the arm and the way Tony looked at the spot. Everyone's already said this, but it bears repeating "Personally, I love a good shag." Love Jimmy's grin when he heard that. (I missed Jimmy). "Very Brokeback Mountain." "He had me at 'howdy'". The old Gibbs is back, but not quite. He's still calling Ducky 'Doctor' and Ducky is still calling him 'Agent Gibbs'. I loved McGee recording the 'chick fight'. He and Tony do get along. The need-to-know operation that Gibbs doesn't need to know about, but Tony does. Hee! Abby: I hug and kiss technology. The boat's finished, or mostly finished. I got to see that finished boat! I know the name too, but I'm not tellin'. I squealed when Jimmy and Agent Lee started kissing. That was so out of the blue, it was great! The minute Abby said there was a third woman I thought of the Real Estate Lady. And Gibbs has once again circumvented the law. Ziva seemed to approve, but I wonder what Tony would have said. I'm pretty sure McGee would have disapproved and I think Tony would have too. Ziva is a bit grayer in her views of justice. Overall I enjoyed this episode. I like how they keep threads of other episodes running through, like the undercover op. Notice how I'm not saying what it is? I can't spell it. I wish I could have seen more of shirtless Tony. I love shirtless Tony. I want Gibbs and Ducky to patch things up. I'm glad that the mustache is gone and I'm glad he kept the longer hair.

Loved the ep, especially McGee recording and Gibbs breaking up the chick fight. We got a little more insight into Gibbs' and Jenny's past, but every time they give us these little snippets, it leaves me wanting to know more (which is probably the whole point, lol). I hope Gibbs and Ducky patch things up soon. My favourite part of the shirtless scene was Ziva's comment: "Just like Chippendales, only without bow ties or muscles." lol. One final thought, Way to go Palmer!

The ep is still on for me, but I just had to make a note that when Tony said McGee seemed to have a bit of extra cash, could that mean he got his book published?

He said 'I am a novelist' somewhere in season 3 (Ravenous?) which made me think he had published. Now I think of it, the manuscript in Red Cell was 'The continuing Adventures of L.J T1bbs" which suggests there was at least one other.
My guess is he got inheritance from whoever died at the funeral where he picked up the girl.
He is also a geek and they buy new technology way before other non-essentials like food.

Hmmmmm. I hadnot thought about the book being the source of the money. Although, being a techno-geek myself, it didn't seem too out of character. Jimmy and Lee caught me flat footed though. I loved it! Way to go Jimmy! I hope they keep Lee around now. I can't wait to see the fan-fiction. There were so many good lines in this episode. It would be hard to pick the faves. GooseGirl

The ep is still on for me, but I just had to make a note that when Tony said McGee seemed to have a bit of extra cash, could that mean he got his book published? hmmm... Season of Secrets, lol! other stuff I liked (Yes I did take notes. Shut up.) Ducky talking about how some bits would have fallen off the dead guy when he was moved... was I the only one picturing a little trail of Bac-Os? McGee took a breath and Gibbs thought he was finished... and McGee actually defended himself! Loved that. The real estate lady telling her husband to duck under the tape... someone's been watching too many cop shows, lol. Why on earth would Tony think it's a good idea to look at a dead man's dealie? What did he think it was going to look like? Abby mentioned the dead guy's clothes were from Sears... "no judgements"

I know that a lot of people seemed to like seeing the secret relationship between Agent Lee and Jimmy be revealed, but, I thought that it came across as a filler scene to go along with the Season of Secrets storyline more than anything else. Agent Lee just isn't interesting enough to me to keep my attention. I liked seeing more of the old Gibbs return sans his mustache. I enjoyed the interaction between the team this week and I liked that it was at the forefront more than last week. I liked the girl fight and Abby's reaction to it. I had the perp picked right away, because something about her getting angry tipped me off.

I really loved this episode, it was great character interaction and some of the lines were just priceless. I really loved the ending where Ducky got to be the 'hero' and piece everything together. I love outside-of-autopsy Ducky. Also Abby at the end looking stoked about the confrontation between the wife and husband was priceless. I loved McGee and Tony this ep, they totally buddy-buddy with each other. Also them taking of their shirts was a nice tough. I won't complain about that. Palmer and Lee just made me smile. I'm happy that they've hooked up, Palmer needs some lovin'.
