I thought we took along the vat of coffee because Gibbs with a caffiene deprivation headache wouldn't cooperate with us. Plus, we need to keep his fluids up.

Oh my, GG, you are being generous with the pictures today. Everywhere I look, you're posting a pic. We'll have to give you an extra-long turn with Gibbs this road trip!

Whoa, wait a sec! I appreciate the pictures and all, but considering GG was about the only one to have a turn last time...

Hey, it's all good... All the Gibblets get a nice long turn before me on the Christmas hiatus Roadtrip. I promise. My fic will be long done and mac and I will be turning our fingers to an interesting new project...
Don't worry, we'll take our turns with the man, too, but the rest of the gang definitely gets first shot at him!

Okay, so I've managed to put together a bit more about Gibbs after 1991.
Went to the reserves probably after 1991 based on the flask. From there it looks like he came to NCIS (I'm guessing returned, since he said he's been doing it for 19 years) and got his NIS shirts. (Seen on The Boneyard and Enigma). Divorced X #3 between 1999 and 2001. I'm basing that on the fact that she hit him in the head four years ago as of 2003, but Tony wasn't with the team at the time they divorced according to the conversation with Ducky on Reveille. I'm also going out on a limb and thinking he transferred to the Washington DC office between 1994-1996. He was there when he worked with Stan Burley, but hadn't heard about the Trident case (and I'm pretty sure he'd have heard about it had he been working at the DC office) and didn't know Agent Dawes.
Seeing as he's so freakin' secretive about his life, you really have to read between the lines. Not to mention that you never know when something is actually the truth.

Meg, you might want to keep a year-by-year time line. It would make an excellent resource!

keeping Gibbs exercised is a hard tough job, but somebody's gotta do it, right?

I thought Gibbs looked a bit tired and haggard (I won't say "old") in Heart Break. Anyone else notice?
