I know he is aged to purr-fection! but I just found this and had to share. The dog is called Cooper. BTW this vintage Mark is 1987.

LJ it is already my new desktop picture, replacing SWALK shower scene, so I must really like it. Can't work out if it is the stubble or that look in his eye. Maybe a bit too hairy back then. The aged silver look nowadays hides most of the hairyness.

Speaking of the 'aged silver look'..this is for practice so I can get my clone.

Maybe...I dunno, I like semi-hairy forearms. Not monkey-hairy but, y'know, a healthy coverage...ahem.
I think it's the look in his eye, personally. And that tiny smirk -- makes you wonder just what he's thinking.

Its very weird, I just cant get behind the young Mark. Maybe its because Ive never seen anything from back then, only pictures. Perhaps Moving Mark is better. But he just looks like a completely different person to me. I can't associate it at all with how he looks now, I don't know why.

I sort of know what you mean, Rain. There is a certain dissociation and it's difficult to reconcile, for example, Freddy Shoop with Gibbs. For me, though, it's the same as with people you haven't seen for a long time and don't really recognize. You know it's the same person, but it seems like they're two separate people.
Sorry for rambling...um, even if they are two different people, both are hot!
(Okay, that made no sense at all...)

Just found this on the ever-changing Google. Don't know how to make it bigger, oh well.

There is definitely something to do with the smirk that makes that photo so appealing, Mchnelson! The file name is GQ... is that as in the magazine? Because I find they often do some rather cheeky, very flattering photoshoots!! You know it's the same person, but it seems like they're two separate people. This has totally got me convinced he's exactly like a fine wine - really - all the years bring something delightfully different... Like a young white wine, he was the one all the girls seem to love: a little dry, it goes straight to your head with a sharp citrusy feel, leaving a certain pleasant tingle on the taste buds... While the older Mark is refined... oaked - slightly smokey from the time in the barrel, all those tannins forming a warm blanket over the inside of your mouth. So more of a full-bodied red: rich and bold, yet soft and enticing.., just oozing with flavour... ahem! So... just perfect company in the winter reclining by a log fire! ;D Hehe... I hope I haven't worn the analogy out!

Gracious, no! That was a wonderful, even poetic, description. Put it to music and we could have a theme song...Okay, scratch that, that would be wearing it thin.

Wow, Zk, I'm not a wine drinker but after reading your descriptions, I might have to start! But back to the clone application process, which, I hope, I can do in installments. First, the Gorgeous Gunny pix and then the chocs and flowers. I hope this works as well as it did earlier...but then I had my 'McGee' aka my daughter, helping me out. So we'll see....

Just think the Gibblets who don't avoid spoilers may want to know this. I saw a scanned TV Guide article about Director Shephard and Gibbs. I have posted it in the *3.1, 3.2 Kill Ari* spoilers thread under Current Cases for you to see.
