Darla can you tell from this, if it is wood or not? You may not be able to see the tongue in this cap, but I'd say it is certainly in use, somewhere in there ;D

Mark really does have lots of scrummy parts! ;D I'm currently collecting more butt shots from NCIS, but I keep finding hand and tongue shots that distract me, oh and smile shots... they really distract me too. I will eventually post them, or die of dehydration from all the drooling!! If only my assistant was in Today I'd let her help me lol.

thought I'd have a go at a clicky thumbnail - it's widescreen wallpaper so it's biggish! I borrowed one of the images from mchnelson ;D for which I give thanks.

Maybe they have a sponsor who supplies them with sportswear and 'weaponry' and only with aluminum bats. Or another idea: Mark has learned from the Gibbs experience one thing: wooden bats make ugly splinters.

I don't see it...why??? sorry elektra - I don't know - I made it for my own screen and although I couldn't upload it full size it's still quite big so it might take a while to appear - try i171.photobucket.com/albums/u316/geeport/wallib2copy.pngWith regards to the bat controversy (aluminium vs. wood) what's the difference between the two? I'm in Scotland so I admit I don't have the background in baseball - is it 'purer' to use wood? - looks like Mark's own bat is wood.

Coming from a cricket playing country (I think England still play cricket!!! though there have been days recently when I've begun to doubt that.). Does an aluminum bat make the ball go further when hit? Also not so much in Mark's case, but do aluminum bats last longer, thus making them cheaper for the normal player than a wood one, Maple or Ash I believe, wonder why we make cricket bats from Willow? Luckily my cricket bat is Polyarmoured, so it keeps its shape and I don't have to oil it.

....(I think England still play cricket!!! though there have been days recently when I've begun to doubt that.). ;D ;D ;D Originally from Yorkshire myself so I understand that! don't own a bat and can't bowl straight either though (something to do with my aerodynamics.... I have the same disadvantage as Director Shepherd ) No doubt that Mark Harmon has a sweet swing though!

Thank you so much geeport for posting a thumbnail of that huge pic. I think every member should learn how to do that. Many of our members live in areas that don't offer DSL/Broadband and I know they are grateful for thumbnails. Here's a little something to get the heart pumping clickable Now back to

*heavy drool* Hey, my fellow Gibblets, sorry, I haven't been here for ages, great to see there're so many droolie pics!! I've been watching Chicago Hope today, so just thought to drop by and have some Mark fix Mchnelson, I really really really love that ready-to-swing pic of Mark!! (I kinda have a thing for man who play baseball and he's Mark...so ;D) Jo got me the autograph while she went to that game and I have it in my treasure box now. heh... just really love it. wornsouls, I love your banner in the sig!! BTW, I used to play baseball for a while when I was in high school, you guys are kinda correct, aluminum bats did last longer and thus more economical for the game. And though I didn't tink the coach ever told me (if he did, I forget ), but the difference I could tell was, when you hit the ball with a wooden bat, the vibration after the impact could give your hand, forearm and shoulder some pain and it could hurt like a bit*h sometimes. It does improve a lot when we have the aluminum ones to use, so I guess you can say that would improve your peformance a bit. Now I have to go and play baseball with my Gibbs ;D See you guys later, and all of you, take care!
